Adorable! Well equipped; great hot shows, heated floor in bathroom , comfy bed. Would definitely recommend !

Lacking in Newfoundland charm

The property kept emailing me about breakfast. Breakfast is an expensive do it yourself process. The emails included bread to toast for options 1 to 4. I opted for 2 and 3 that included bread per the email. The person checking us in told us abrasively that we did not respond to the email(s). When I cheked the food provided, it was wrong (supposed to get waffles but got eggs). 2 little waffle pieces were provided and the bread taken away. I said the bread was supposed to be included per the emails but was rudely told it wasn't. Aggravate me over a piece of bread! Also, the room closely overlooked an active graveyard, the backs of work trucks and the town water tank--without a view of Woody Point. Newfoundland charm was lacking in this place.

Donna is an incredible host, welcoming, prepared, funny, and generous with her knowledge of Gros Morne and her culinary skills. The rooms are very comfortable, clean, and well appointed. It’s a short walk down to the water and a beautiful view over Bonne Bay. I think it might be the prettiest view I’ve ever seen

What's not to like at this delightful property? The area around Woody Point greeted us with beautiful scenery. The Rooms was easy to find and had so many amazing upgrades. Heated bathroom and shower floor; wireless charging ports, King bed that was so so comfy, and quite a few (that we didn't use), such as e-charging stations for car, doggy towel to wipe pets' feet, and more. We were sorry to only stay one night and quickly realized we had been spoiled on our first night in Newfoundland.

The host Dona was amazing. She was an exceptional cook who prepared for delicious 5-course dinner meals for us. She allowed us to bring our own liquor without charge. Her recommendations for travel were very helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. And the ocean view was breath taken. Strongly recommended.

Staff was very attentive when greeting us and resolved the issue with other guests in no time. Room was perfect for our needs. The views of Bonney Bay and mountains are fantastic. Convinient access to Gros Morne National Park.

I liked everything, the room was clean, comfortable stunning bathroom and great views. Fabulous breakfast box delivered to the room and an outstanding meal in the evening.

Room was very welcoming and cozy. Love the chairs outside, view was beautiful and we loved the walk to the discovery centre.

Nothing really but if I had to say anything would be a bright bathroom light.

Whilst the room and location were very nice I cannot recommend this place to anyone who would like to be treated with integrity and honesty.Message sent to me 1 hour after being checked in by a nervous, stammering host,'this is Donna from The Rooms At Woody Point.We have been notified there will be a power outage in all of Woody Point tomorrow (Thursday) from 6 am to noon. NL Hydro are upgrading a sub station.It's inconvenient. 'm sorry.' ??????NL Power website says it was planned and other units had NL workers already checked in???????

Bed was very comfortable. Room was well laid out. Everything you need is there to relax and enjoy the view

Loved the location and views of the bay and the large windows and deck to sit outside the room.Also exceptionally clean with very comfortable beds.

The satellite TV would continually time out, could not watch the NHL playoff hockey game.

Gorgeous view of the water and mountains, saw whales as we drank our coffee! Just up the hill from the village and lots of hiking right from the door step. The bed was super comfortable. The units are new and well designed. The dinner we ate there was gourmet, delicious (the owner used to run a restaurant).

Quite simply....this is the best! You will not be able to do better than a stay here. Comfortable, exquisitely clean, the owner (Donna) is beyond helpful and a wonderful cook! We had three nights here and wish we could go back right now. The views are breathtaking, and the location is perfect for all the hiking trails in the Gros Morne area of Newfoundland. Communication with The Rooms was perfect. The is the place you really must book.

The bed was too soft for my liking

The suite was very comfortable - especially the bed and pillows - and well appointed. We stayed in suite #1 and the viewwas beautiful. Really enjoyed the deck space. Would definitely stay again if we visited the area and highly recommend to others
