The room was wonderful, large, clean and well-furnished. We especially loved the shower. it was right on the the river and had lovely chairs to sit outside on to watch it flow by.

The restaurant wasn't open and we had to eat a very simple breakfast in our room.

The room was beautiful, lots of light and natural wood. The bathroom was exceptional. It was a two minute walk to downtown and just of the bicycle path, and right on the river.

I wish the restaurant had been open. Our take out breakfast was very nice, but I was looking forward to eating in the restaurant.

The room was as expected, very comfy, well decorated and equipped. The location was very convenient for our stay.

We sent a message to the property for booking the breakfast but we didn't get any answer at all. Looks like the restaurant was closed, but this wasn't indicated anywhere during the booking.

Loved the location by the river's rapids.Very clean and comfortable room.Can walk to downtown area easily.Regretted not having the opportunity to dine there due to my schedule.

Perfect location if you are biking le P'tit Train du Nord. Easy to find and included secure bike storage. The rushing river behind the house provided a peaceful background when dining outside. Private bedroom and adjoining bathroom were large, clean, and very tastefully decorated. They provided a shared small refrigerator and microwave in the hallway. Appreciated the thoughtful supply of plates, silverware and glasses.

Unfortunately the restaurant wasn’t open the night we stayed but it was a quick walk to restaurants and the grocery store.

Beautiful room in this small inn, right on the river. Beautiful garden and secure site for our bikes. Dinner was great and Jean-Francois and the chef went all out to accommodate us. Our favorite spot on le p’tit train du Nord!

No option for breakfast food, though coffee and tea in the room.

The house was very nicely designed, I liked the bathrooms as modern and very clean.

The cost was quite low and the location exceeded our expectations. It was a quaint, clean, modern room overlooking the river - so close you could hear it. It’s a fully self-check in process but one phone call away was a lovely staff member who helped with any questions. It was amazing and exactly what we needed for one comfortable night. Will be back.

Sadly the restaurant was closed for the time being, but we will be back when it’s reopened.

Immediately off of the Tree du Nord rail trail. Short walk into an upscale/quaint town.

Beautiful location with a nice view of the river. Rooms were very nice and comfortable.

The property was lovely! It is beautiful and super clean. It overlooks the river and is right in front of the trail- Le P’tit train nord. So scenic! We loved our stay. The owners were very responsive and helpful! We will be back for sure.

Breakfast was not provided as there were no staff at the property. Possibly as it was considered out of season.

The entry codes I was emailed were incorrect so accessing the property was difficult, especially after a very long journey with my 80 yr old mother. The WIFI didn’t work either. I was reliant on this to communicate as I had travelled from overseas.

The location was very convenient and the room was clean and comfortable.

There were no staff on site and no breakfast was provided. We were surprised that we had no in person interactions, we had to call to learn how to access the room.

A comfortable bed in a recently renovated hotel-style room, with a small balcony overlooking the river above a rapids. There was a small fridge & microwave available to guests. Appreciate the locked storage for cyclists. Self check-in was easy.

Not really a gite, as no breakfast was provided. (Some of the reviews mentioned it was available, but not on this popular summer weekend.) It would not be difficult to do, as the first floor is a working restaurant. Room was small & cramped.

Beautiful large room overlooking a river, modernbathroom with great shower, very comfortable bed and this lovely house is located right across the street from the Petit Train du Nord bike trail and a short walk to town. Perfect!

The room was great and it is on the river which is beautiful, (though quite noisy !)

We expected to be greeted, as we were in the other Auberges where we stayed, but no one was there. It felt quite strange and was confusing. Even though the 'instructions' stated how to get in it, we weren't given a room number, so had to guess and try each room with our entry code. It felt deserted and more like an AirB&B where you have no contact with a host. If we had been told this would be the case then it would have been much better.
