We had 2 rooms with water front view: panorama is amazing! Restaurant at dinner and breakfast was very good.

We have been in August and since sunrise we couldn’t sleep because of the high temperature in the room. It was really impossible to stay more than few minutes in the room during the day. Before leaving we saw some neighbors with a ventilator, I guess they have been smart to ask.

Beautiful property and location! Amazing view!Very pleasant staff

There was a mix up with our room and we had to stay In a very small room beautiful for a couple not suitable for a family of 4 . The place has a restaurant with only one dish per evening and extremely over priced. Since the location is far into the beautiful woods over looking then Fyored it’s not easy to go eat else where and we found ourselves a little stuck with the over priced meal. Breakfast the same thing too expensive

The view is incredible. Our family room had a good size for 5 people.

As mentioned by other guests, the facilities, the rooms and the service are very frugal for the price

Amazing location. Room and chalets are super cute. Good value for money

Dinner is ok but no more.

The natural beauty of the location was exceptional. Very relaxing, terrific view of the Sagaunay river. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The gravel entrance road was well maintained, but a bit long and slow going if you are not comfortable on that type of road surface. We enjoyed our stay, but it was definitely a more rustic experience.

The views are spectacular! The room was clean. Staff was as helpful as they could be. Lots of seating area s to enjoy the scenery. Hiking was fun.

Small shower. Flat mattresses (but slept better than expected). Toiletries & and towel change-out is after 3 nights. I get why, but should put enough TP in there to last the length of stay or more. Need to go to the main building to replace towels, etc. if necessary. Offered massage services, but the person was not there to facilitate, which took into the next day to find out. Food was pricey for what you get, but I only ate there for 1 dinner. Has hiking trails, but be careful as the map is not accurate, I.e. "Easy" was definitely not easy, and an "intermediate" was easy.

Fantastic view of Fjord, comfortable bed, friendly staff, grounds are simply beautiful.

Value for money is dubious, a lot more rustic than I expected based on other reviews, dinner was good fresh food but there again not up to what I expected (sausage and couscous). 7 km on a dirt road to get there and back on the main road was quite a surprise.

The view was astounding! The place did a magnificent job of having areas all over to experience the views. the room was very comfortable and a decent size - not super spacious. Loved the property and the architecture of it. Breakfast buffet was great. Happy hour and dinner were great. Loved our stay here and would definitely come back.

The view is the best thing about the place.

It is worth mentioning there is a 7km dirt road to the hotel. Depending on your car, it is an important detail. Also no internet and no air conditioning in the room.

    7WhittPosted on: 7-15-2023

    Liked the view for reception.

My bed was on the hard side for me. Could hear adjacent rooms.

    7JudithPosted on: 6-30-2022

Breathtaking views of the fjord from the property. The scenery is beautiful as well as the location. We chose a room with a balcony on the third floor overlooking the fjord and it was such a gorgeous view.

Supper was mediocre and expensive. Definitely room for improvement. Some meal choices rather than one fixed menu would have been ideal.

A place to sleep ($$$), the view

A terrible place to sleep, tiny thin dusty likely 20 year old pillows, dusty room, uncomfortable bed despite high $$$. Requested early check in since I'm 9 months pregnant to rest and elevate my legs. Told they could not accommodate that and to wait until 4 pm. Only 6 cars on site, very few other visitors, and yet a simple request could not be met. Room so dusty it hadn't been stayed in in weeks. Cannot use pool unless you want to pay $50 and reserve it for 3 hours. Informed this is because of covid, however no covid restrictions remain in Canada in summer of 2022, simply a cash grab and more opportunity to show their lack of hospitality. No other guests can use the facilities since pool rental period is for a minimum of 3 hours. Sewage smell in room, due to the sinks and showers not being used in some time (septic). 7 km dirt road leading to hotel was in such poor shape, likely to damage car. Do not eat here. I'm summary, don't be in the tourism industry unless you have hospitality and can maintain basic cleanliness and room standards.

Amazing view over the fjiord, nice shared space on chalet and reception building. Besides this hotel has several conventional hiking tracks and has access to the lake for canoeing.

7 KM unpaved road, which was not mentioned in the booking. No refrigerator or Iron in the room or even the property to use it. Small beds and rooms. and lower than normal Breakfast services.
