Hotel La Porte de la Matawinie -Hôtel Matha

It was my worst experienced. The room smell humidity. so much noise on another room on top of ours, like somebody was punching the walls, jumping and moving the furniture. We decided to leave the hotel in the middle of the night , we were to scared.

toilette brisée qui coule tout le temps et qu'on doit réparer à chaque utilisation. verres à vin etaient très sales. En bonus, on voyait bien qu'on allait manquer rapidement d'eau chaude.

Clean friendlly staff

Did not price was in US dollars so a $121. Turned out to be a $165. Room Down the hall there were 3 rooms with men drinking, doors were open and going from room to room, laughing, drinking and talking very loud. Because of this would not go there again

good price; reasonable location; comfortable bed

toilet flush handle broken; soap dispensers were empty; no fruit or yogurt included in the breakfast; noisy A/C; back door security light not working; gardens need serious weeding (some done on driveway); small TV screen; broken eavestroughs

The bedroom is very spacious, with a comfortable bed, there is a fridge, a microwave, with a small table where you can take a small lunch, it is very convenient, and there is a grocery nearby.

It was in a good location. They had a washer/dryer (one broke, & expensive). But the downstairs smelled like Asian cooking. We think the family lived downstairs and cooked in their rooms. Definitely would not have wanted to be on that level.

The staff spoke limited English, young, seemed family run. Our room 117 was okay, but the carpet was like indoor/outdoor and no padding. I fell and injured my leg very badly and had to go to the hospital. They did nothing.
