I loved the different room layout. That there were 2 beds in 1 room, but because of the layout and the little corner it fel like a but more privacy.

The service, the cleanliness and the location at the half way point between Ontario and Nova Scotia make this a reliable and safe place to stop if you must travel.

Extremely friendly staff, speaks French, English and Spanish,very clean and new,attention to details. Q tips, mascara removal sponge, weigh scale and so on were in the room. The price which was $---- Cdn was the best room we ever had for the price.

Advertised CAA on the sign outside,however it was never mentioned when I registered, nothing at the counter either. I would of got a discount probably also.

Very friendly and accomodated us with our trailer. 

The contactless arrival and departure was perfect.

The tv system did not work.

Everything was clean and there was a partial view of the water from the porch outside the rooms. The TV actually had more than a few English speaking channels as well.

I know it's located just off the TransCanada highway so that makes it more convenient but I fould the price for each room for one night too high. I travel a lot and have stayed in similiar accommodations that were more reasonably priced.

This is a renovated motel. Comfortable, clean & quiet. Excellent shower, keurig, fridge & microwave in the room.

Convenience of location driving from Nova Scotia to Ontario

Was put in a room in the separate building. I know we paid for 2 twin bed $146 + tax. but the room looked like what it probably looked like 30 years ago. We have stayed at this motel for several years and have always been very satisfied. But this time, we were very disappointed, the room was very rundown, terrible flat pillows, a very old pink bathtub.

Owner operator. Easy booking, clean, many amenities ( safety bar in shower/ bath, magnified mirror, ). Parking, EV charging on site.

Location was good

We stayed in room #1, discovered bed bugs at 1:30 in the morning. Woke up the owner, he provided plastic garbage bags for packing our luggage. Did not want to come see, did not want to see pics and said he never had those before. We then left for a 5.5 hour drive. Furthermore, upon check in, they wanted to charge an extra $15 dog fee despite the cost stated on booking.com confirmation. The owner did state he would not charge for the room.

Very clean and newly renovated. We had the executive suite so it had extra room. Beautiful bathroom and shower. would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable beds.

Remote for air conditioning was hidden under the motel's information booklet. Therefore, we did not have air conditioning. We discovered the remote the morning we were leaving. Many ants on the floor, mostly in the bathroom.

The shower was half decent but there was little place to plug in our electronics for charging and the chairs on the porch could be updated as well as the shrubs need a trim.

The price was way too expensive for what was offered.

There wasn’t much I didn’t enjoy. It was a very nice place.

The bed was ok comfortably wise. The room was fine for a quick one night stay while travelling.

First thing we noticed when we walked in the room is that it had a smell. It was somewhat clean but I made the mistake of looking behind the desk that was in the room and it was a bit gross. Also the bathroom door had red smeared all over it (lipstick maybe) and dirty finger prints. It looks like they had recent renovations done but they cheap out on them, the crown moulding wasn’t put on nicely and they got paint on the light shade in the washroom but didn’t wash it off. When I woke up and was making the bed I found a dead bug on my side (not a bed bug not sure what kind of bug it was). On there sign outside of the motel it states that they speak English but they did not, which is fine but don’t advertise that you do.

sticky floors. wore my socks to bed in case I needed to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. I don’t like giving negative reviews but if I don’t say anything how will they ever know…
