    Pros +

    • Confort and quiet
    • The location is absolutely perfect. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The staff that work there are delightful. Also very helpful.
    • We had a wonderful stay at this unique inn. We made use of the sauna and hot tub, only wish we'd spent more time in the beautiful gardens.

    Cons -

    • The breakfast could have a little bit more variety for the bed-and-breakfast package. It also could have like a little muffin or something made a little special in the morning instead of our choice of five very simple items. The food was very tasty, but after four days, I got to be a little boring. Especially yogurt could be a standard menu item.
    • We were offered breakfast, but were a little disappointed that it was simply a non-descript American-style meal. Eggs, bacon, toast.
    • Not a dislike but something to consider when booking: It is 3.5 km from the village so we had to drive back to get dinner but for us it was not a disadvantage as it was scenic (stunning sunset views at the lookout en route) and it was very quiet and peaceful.

The auberge is a beautiful building with whimsical and well maintained gardens. Our room was clean and comfortable with views over the kitchen garden and rural area. The breakfast (included in our stay) was very good. Francine who welcomed us when we arrived was very friendly and helpful.

Wonderful stay! The staff were amazing. Great location and extra bonus for EV and Tesla owners with destination charging.

Well-equipped and clean rooms, beautiful garden, great breakfast. Very nice and helpful ladies running the auberge. We were very happy and would return.

    Everything was good.

We had a wonderful stay at the inn. The owner and staff were very pleasant, helpful and informative. The inn and grounds are lovely and well maintained. The breakfast was delicious and we purchased several bags of the delicious freeze dried fruit, vegetables and treats prepared on the premises to take home with us.

The hotel has a large lovely garden which provides a gentle oasis in a week of travel. The spacious rooms are very quiet. Probably the most comfortable bed on our travels

The lack of blackout curtains in the rooms was a minor inconvenience.

The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. The gardens in the back of the building are beautiful! The artwork throughout the facility was a great touch! Our room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable! The included breakfast was delicious, dinners served as well. The Location was perfect! The scenery on the short 5 minute drive into Baie-Saint Paul was spectacular! ?

Since the new owners just took over in May 2024, they’re still waiting for a liquor license.

The staff were lovely. The rooms were well appointed and the breakfast was great.

When we arrived there was a note on front door asking us to call a number so that someone would come and open door. Thought that was a bit strange!!! We're standing outside with our luggage and can't enter. It took more then one call and quite sometime before a staff member eventually showed up.

    Poor service.

    9JoanPosted on: 6-20-2024

The hostess was truly lovely, helpful and friendly. Our room was large, contained nice decorative touches, and looked out over the back gardens with sculptures. Breakfast was great! I had delicious French toast. I usually don't buy in gift shops attached to inns but this one was an exception. Its dried fruit, dried with a special process, was so amazing that both my husband and I decided to buy several types.

Our room was a bit noisy with noise from the road. We were tired so it didn't interfere with our sleep but if someone is a really light sleeper, it might be wise to ask for a room on the side of the inn away from the road.

The staff were especially congenial. The room was very comfortable, very well appointed.
