Excellent location. Friendly owners & staff.

A little “worn out”. Not entirely spotless. Air conditioner was awkwardly positioned so quite difficult to safely and easily reach.

Conveniently located but the exterior could use some cleaning up and some upgrades

Understood there was a kitchen but we could not find it, there was no staff onsite. There was a locked door to a dining room and when asking the one staff in the morning if we could make our breakfast outside she was not going for that and (we were travelling with everything we needed) she said she could go unlock the kitchen.

On the way to the place, my wife and I using Waze got lost. I called La Camarine for assistance. And this is to acknowledge the staff on duty - LOUBNA. Firstly, she sent me a location to my phone. And when I can't make a fix on the location - she actually offered to DRIVE TO WHERE WE ARE AND FOLLOW HER to the place. I want all to know that this is doing more than "the extra mile" for customer satisfaction! Kudos to Loubna!

The location

Air conditioning wasn’t working at all. It looked like it hasn’t been replaced or fixed for 40 years. They seemed surprised about this and told us to open the balcony door and gave us an old fan, as it was 10pm when we arrived. The noise coming from the highway prevented us to sleep so we ended up closing the door. It was still hot and we barely slept.

The staff are friendly and helpful.

The room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. It was very quiet.

We had a coffee machine but no coffee?

when we arrived at the night, there is no one at the front desk to help with check-in. After called the phone number, we learned that the hotel had double booked their last room. the hotel eventually arranged us to a room in the lower level (basement ), the room seems like an employee's rest room which connected to the employee kitchen. we had to use commune bathroom and washroom. not a good experience. The hotel still charged us the full price. Not a good experience.

The location was calm and quiet, away from the busy area but still accessible. Ample parking space, helpful staff, neat & clean room, bathroom and beds.

The toilet seemed to be too small to fit adults.

I did not like much other than the location was convenient, if one likes looking at the back of a school.

While the building looked interesting by design upon closer inspection it was a bit grim. A closed restaurant at the front was a bummer. The lights above the bed did not work, so no chance to read a book there. The comforter on the bed had feathers, not down, leaking out to stick us all the time. We were informed of complimentary coffee, but if you wanted more than 1 it was going to cost more. The disposable coffee were not meant to work in the machine. We were charged a considerably higher rate than some people on snowmobiles (I asked them). There was one tiny trash can in the room. nN one came to refresh the room between night so we got to reuse wet towels. Overall the room was terrible. I would never go back and will twill people not to stay.

The staff were wonderful and very welcoming. Also they provided immediate service when we requested help.

bed too soft. had to pay extra for coffee capsules although there was a coffee maker in the room. should provide a minimum of 2 capsules per day.
