Very plain. Had to hook up tv myself and figure out how to operate. Check in 5 and out at 11:00 sucks.

The location and the large rooms, the staff was friendly and accommodating .

Additional city tax .

Beautiful location

Some of the decor needs to be replaced, for example, bedside lamp did not work, nicks in the paint, noisy fan etc.

would have liked to check in earlier. Check-in is 5 p.m. NO time to enjoy the patio looking at the water.

Location excellent, nice little town. Unit was spacious.

Property is in need of significant maintenance. Temporary bracing for concrete stairs, paint peeling, uneven pavements, overall very dated.

Fabulous location. Very clean and well equipped kitchen.

The perfect homebase for biking to Collingwood and Meaford on the incredible rail trails.

The location was great. Literally steps from the bay.

The room was old and dilapidated, and should have never been assigned. The water is brown so don’t bother taking a bath. It was like we walked into a storage locker that was turned into a hotel rectangle. Dead bugs on carpeted stairs, split walls. Paint peeling. Mildew all over the bathroom, and a shower that puts more water outside the curtain than inside. Then there was the dirty appliances and dish rack and the couch that had the grime from many a guest who overstayed their welcome. The staff are clueless and lazy with more excuses than solutions. This is not a resort, this was a cheap motel in disguise. In fact I’ve stayed at cleaner and more updated Howard Johnson’s.

This was our 4th time at this hotel. We love the location. We love that they have thought about all little details for your room. You can find anything you need and more in the room.

Their check-in time is 4pm. It is VERY late. When you start a vacation, you wanna start with getting settled in your room. They should change it to an earlier time. 2pm is more common...

The location is excellent. Ground floor bay view. Walkout to the water and a nice view of the harbour. No need to drive anywhere once there as everything is within walking distance. Rooms are a little dated but well stocked with everything you need to make any meals. Beds are very comfortable and rooms are very spacious. Front desk ladies are very pleasant and helpful when asked questions about the area and best places to eat. The only issue was the pool was not heated and the water was very cold. Refreshing due to the heat outside but still a little too cold. A hot tub and sauna made up for that. I will definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone who plans to visit the area and is looking for accommodations.

Walking distance from restaurants and directly across the street from the bay. It was as if we had a condo to ourselves for the night.

I have zero complaints.

Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The location and view is spectacular overlooking the harbour and Georgian Bay. Pool and hot tub were appreciated, and the rooms themselves are like small studio apartments, roomy and comfortable and clean.

Nothing really…maybe the furniture and decor is a bit dated and tired…but extremely clean and well kept,

It was cold and the fireplace did not work. They did offer another room but we had already settled in. The hydro went out for several hours

The rooms are great - spacious and comfortable with a beautiful view of the bay/marina. Everything in the room that you need, including full ice trays in the freezer, and the wifi worked well. Very pretty, short walk into downtown Thornbury, along the Beaver River (Corner Bar / Mill); Port resto is right next door which is overpriced but a nice, cozy spot for a drink (and maybe food but we didn't try - again, overpriced, we preferred the aforementioned spots in town). The salt water pool is nice (easy on the eyes) and the hot tub is great - homestyle job, good temp and nice jets.

The fitness room is dated and machines old but still managed to get in a decent, half workout.
