The front desk associate was very warm and friendly, and the hotel itself, though older, was charming and comfortable.

The wifi wasn't stellar, but considering I wasn't even expecting wifi in the room, this was not a big deal.

I like that the staff were very welcoming and supportive. They went the extra mile esp Amelia, who checked us in-person, as I requested even if our train arrived past 8pm. The location is great. I like that there are no keys or cards to rooms as they could get lost or de-magnetized. The number key to access room is convenient. The pillows were very nice, fluffy and soft but firm.

As I had difficulty climbing stairs, I did not like that the elevator was out of order. But the staff offered to help bring up my bags. Also, there was no microwave to take-out food.

Perfect location for my stay. The staircase was beautiful.

I found the bed too soft but my partner thought it was comfortable. The front entrance step was very icy but just inside the lobby was a salt bucket so I kept salting the steps so no one would fall. The room would have benefited with a boot mat to collect water from the winter foot wear.

Great location for walking everywhere.

Broken elevator-apparently for many months, parking hassle, limited on-site parking, parked outside front doors to unload bags and during 5min we were inside checking-in parking enforcement tagged us- we assume they were watching us, loud after party noise outside bar across street kept us awake 2-4am

Close to town.

Hotel is undergoing renovation. Squeaky floorboard on main floors and noisy heaters. Room was not soundproofed well. There is no centralized heating in room. No microwave.

Elevator didn’t work. Shower was very small and outdated. Strong perfume smell in lobby. Parking was difficult to get out of. We had the king suite and the room itself was very plain.

The location was good for our stay

it was located downtown, very walkable to food & shopping - adequate, no frills accommodations for 1 person

no parking available on site - not even to unload when checking in. to park for the night i had to walk a few blocks to Cooper Lot (free) which was not at all convenient especially after dark & walking alone. the 'cozy' room was very small & plain - i understand that they are still renovating, but it was not reflected in the rates i paid for my stay.

Room was clean and neat. Bathroom was small but efficient. Excellent large new shower ! but no grab bars for senior !Top notch location !! All restaurants within 300 yards including the Avon theatre.

Elevator out of commission ! Clerk helped carry our bags to 2nd floor. Looked like the 1st floor was going under renovations. A street map of the area would have been nice for walking.Overall the location of the hotel was 10/10 !! Paid parking at the hotel was good, although public parking was directly across the street.

I was over all very Disappointed

I had a problem with booking which was not resolved. I was charged for the problem ie 2 rooms when I used one. Problem has yet to be addressed.
