    Cons -

    • Beach is full of weeds, the ministry does not allow the clearing of aquatic vegetation in Sparrow Lake.
    • I think that the fitness room can be better
    • They sell frozen items but they are not ready to cook it for us, that's the only drawback of resort other than that every thing is perfect especially the staff in go market is so friendly and adorable

We had an amazing experience at Bayview Wildwood Resort! We came as a group of five families, and it was truly a fantastic winter getaway for everyone — adults and kids alike. The variety of winter activities was excellent. We loved the sledding, snowshoeing, and ice skating, and there was even an ice fishing option available (for an additional fee), which was a great extra experience. There was always something fun to do, and it made the trip exciting and memorable for all of us.The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Their positive attitude really made a difference and added to the overall experience. We created wonderful memories together and would definitely consider coming back. Highly recommended for families looking for a fun and active winter vacation!

This resort is really nice. Ive only been in the shoulder season, so its quiet and you have alot of the amenities to yourself. I imagine in the summer its flooded with families.

The restaurant on site is overpriced and NOT good. Like at all. Tried it both times ive been here, both times awful and expensive AF.

    4AminuddinPosted on: 10-14-2025

This was a perfect place for a quiet time and at a beautiful lake.

The rooms need serious maintenance, the beds were not comfortable, multiple small pillows and none are standard. The resort could do better in attending to guest needs: as we called for AV remote but they ignored it as I don't know if we were expected to bring one with us!!

    Breakfast was good!!

We think my sister got food poisoning from the lunch we had on Tuesday at the buffet!!The bed in our room was way too tall. I have issues with my leg, so it was hard to get up onto the bed. There was a big nice television, but no stations that we were interested in. We wanted to relax with a good movie. Some of the stations seem to be all American news and the ones that were global their lips didn’t go with their talking so the TV was disappointing. I think If there was more things to do in the evening, maybe some entertainment or even a big bonfire you had a lovely fire pit there!!

We had a great stayed here,Kids enjoyed the inflatable water Park and canoeing. There's so much things to do here. They had an indoor and outdoor pool, kids playground, a Game Room and kids fun zone are great for rainy days.my little one enjoyed the horse wagon ride and the Amanda's exotic animals .We purchase a meal plan for the whole stay ,food are great, buffet set up for breakfast and lunch ,for dinner you can order separately from buffet. They offered a 3 course meal . Overall, we loved our stay here ,will definitely back again.

The only thing is we lost our phone stick holder, We're not sure if we left it in the room we are staying or in the beach .we just find out when we got home today.

    Location LakeStaff Training rooms

It was really dirty. We couldn’t make coffee in the room due to the dust and dirt in the machine we were charged 22$+tax for breakfast and we were really concerned about hygiene. Plates, cutlery, glasses everything looked dirty so we barely ate. Lastly, the walls are thin so we could hear everything and our neighbours wouldn’t stop making noise so we were woken up at 5 am!

    8TPosted on: 5-31-2025

This was our second visit. As usual, the place was clean, well maintained. The reception staff on training was welcoming. However the chief receptionist was rude, unfriendly and didn't even bother to keep an eye contact even when we asked her questions. She is a shame to the resort. Please keep staff who enjoy being in there.

    The receptionist.

The lake view from our room was incredible. The entire team was so overly kind, helpful and made us feel so welcome. Anything we needed they were so attentive! The assortment of food and gluten free options for celiacs was great and Sooo appreciated! Kitchen and dining staff were attentive and helpful and very well organized.

The pool area was renovated well but just far too much chlorine in the water that it was mercy and the smell was overpowering. A suggestion, to have a maintenance person checking it every couple hours to keep chlorine levels at a safe recommended level and the floors in there clean and dry especially with all the traffic during March break.

This place is a hidden gem! It was a wonderful family getaway, with great amenities and food, amazing staff, and so many things to do! I'm not the most outdoorsy person in the winter, and the resort has many options for inside and outside! You can easily accommodate travel companions' needs with different tastes and have a fab time regardless of whether you like doing winter activities outdoors or having fun inside. We will definitely return!

We had a wonderful stay at this lakeside hotel. The location is unbeatable, with every room offering breathtaking views of the lake. The rooms were clean, and the receptionists were always friendly and cheerful, which made us feel very welcome. Breakfast at the on-site restaurant was delicious and nicely presented, though it felt a bit pricey given the limited variety. Overall, this hotel is an excellent choice for a relaxing getaway with stunning views and great service.

Unfortunately, we had a disappointing experience at the restaurant when trying to sit at a table by the window. Although we were told these tables were reserved, we saw other guests without reservations being seated there. Despite this, the hotel is still a lovely choice for the views and friendly atmosphere.

    9mariaPosted on: 10-23-2024

We did not take the breakfast there.

Was a busy weekend as the weather was very nice but the evening and night the noise from the guests was to much much for us, other vise would be perfect.

    8AcostaPosted on: 10-21-2024

The location and the view of the lake were amazing especially during Fall season.

The noise from the train passing by.

    8EricPosted on: 10-14-2024

    Very good

The room was noisy because of a door in the wall and people partying

    7robinhoodPosted on: 10-8-2024

Location is very good, facilities like paddle boats and canoes, bikes for kids.Indoor and outdoor pools, though we did not use any.Bonfire, tea/coffee machines at reception and room, microwave - important things for families.

The main drawback is the quality for rooms. They are outdated, broken, unclean. The bathroom in our suite did not have a lock! The resort was full so we could not get the room changed. The rooms are very close with a lot of noise from our neighbours.Areas outside the room were really unclean with cobwebs - dont think they have been cleaned for ages.
