Super 8 by Wyndham Kirkland Lake

Very dirty and not cheap for what's offered. Missing towel s bathroom had mold beside toilet. Air conditioner not working door was broken but still renting this looks like it was kicked in .also flies n mosquito s coming in door not properly sealed.

I am 75, I am handicapped, and have COPD and they were so very helpful with my room.

The Pizza Hut across the street wasn't very helpful to deliver pizza.

The rooms and hotel itself are nice. The staff when I checked in were friendly and helpful

The room service robot was not working and the breakfast wasn't quite as pictured The front desk seems under-staffed and checking out wasn't as smooth as check in. People who arrived after me to check out were helped first.

we booked room were told there was a continental breakfast & when I went to front desk to ask where it was set up the worker handed me a "brown bag" with a drinking box & a granola bar in it - he said "they were having a hard time finding kitchen staff

Yep sheets and comforters was not changed on bed lots of crusted remains was on them very Unhygienic

The bed needs to be replaced. No place to store our electric bikes had to take them into the room.

Breakfast starts too late for this mining community. Room not cleaned very well, coffee not replaced, shampoo not replaced, coffee maker not cleaned.

Super 8 motel in Kirkland Lake. Omg, I could barely get to the first room's outer entrance because of the snow piled up and ice that formed. Narrow door to the room itself that swings shut (almost fell down struggling to hold door open n push walker thru). The little hallway (in the room) was barely able to accommodate the upright walker. And yes, while booking , i did say i was disabled...... There was puke on the wall n rug under the bench where you put your luggage. GROSS !!! So, on to the second room. A mattress from the 60"s, I'm sure.... no TV (cable) or internet service. Floor is so spongy at the entrance. But the freakiest .... is the crack pipe outside my room door nicely placed up against the door frame step. Try n sleep knowing that's outside your door n who knows if they are coming back for it...... the shower curtain was rod was broken, so the curtain gathered at the center. So because it was booked thru a third party, (booking.com) I still had to pay full price as agreed upon..... so beware of your lodgings peeps..... wowzers. Fbs !!!! $183.69Never ever will I stay there again, nor will I recommend this motel to anyone. I have already told friends about my experience, n they told me to write to you about it n the better business bureau.

The rooms were filthy. As soon as my family member checked in, all they could smell was old tobacco. Requested to change rooms & after three attempts they cancelled and stayed elsewhere due to cleanliness. This was a short stay due to weather road closure and was an added stress to the unforeseen circumstances

I would like to thank the lovely gentleman and lovely young lady who served us and spoke to me on the phone when I had concerns.We had an extremely bad experience at this hotel. We paid $600 for three rooms. There were 5 adults and 5 children in our party. The children were extremely tired when we arrived as were the drivers. We had no time to complain as we had to get the children to bed. We had Room 200. 201,203. Of these rooms two of them were filthy. One had hair balls, toys and dirt around the toilet. The soap was open and the toilet paper not on the spool. The room mirrors were absolutely filthy. The second room had nail clippings all over the carpet between the beds. The tv did not work. We DID report the issues to the desk. In the morning the gentleman on the desk offered us a refund for the rooms. We gratefully accepted. However when the refund failed to appear, I rang the hotel back and was told it would be in my account in the morning. It did not appear so I called again at which time I was told it would be done immediately. It appeared the next morning and immediately after the hotel debited my credit card for an additional $590 plus. This was done without authorization for me. I did not stay in their hotel on the date I was billed the second time. This is theft. They had no authorization to take money off my credit card a second tine. I then spoke to the manager who was rude, told me it was my problem because they could have provided me with other rooms that may have been more up to standard. Not worth the room change with five tired children. She also told me she had the right to take back my refund because the staff did not have permission to issue it.
