    Pros +

    • Beach, indoor and outdoor pool
    • The location is great. The restaurant has good food. Kayaks and canoes are available for water activities.
    • Gave us a crappy room for what was paid, we were the only people there, a nicer room would have been appreciated.

    Cons -

    • Wish beach activity were later than 6pm
    • I was charged an extra $--- + tax per night as a hotel fee, which was not included during booking, and was not informed until I checked in. The room didn't have a microwave. Shower head was defective. Very expensive compared to the amenities provided.
    • The Leather chairs were ripped and definately needed replacing...the lighting when exiting the parking lot and through the property was very poor...it was very dark not good for walking to our engagement which was 1 klm away so we drove instead.

    Great location, friendly staff!

Spiders in the room, bed sheets were dirty.

    10Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 5-25-2022

The staff were super friendly and competent.

Room service was okay (7/10). Pool was very dirty by Sunday evening: floors had visible dirt, sand, hair, other dirt. Water in pool/hottub looked yellow, and hottub smelled dirty (day of arrival: everything had smelled of bleach and looked clean) (4/10).

    7MichaelPosted on: 4-4-2022

Staff was very helpful. Pleasant. Room was good, bed comfortable. Food was good for our dinner selections. Pool was nice.

Misleading advertising for amenities. No pool table and games room when we got there. Also the hot tub jets were not working. Only buffet option for breakfast. Had to get a light breakfast somewhere else. The heater/air conditioning unit was noisy.

We were there for a skiing event and the hotel is literally across the street from the hill. It simply could not be more convenient. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly and accommodating.

    7Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 8-17-2018

Great location on the lake with kayaks, paddle boards, canoes available for guests. Tennis/basketball courts in good condition and available also. Late night (after nine pm) menu was outstanding.

Things seem dated. There was a banner indicating a 50 year celebration which is an opportunity to show charm. Instead things seemed old. Consider new lounge chairs as they felt weak and sagged/life jackets looked faded and worn out.

Close to Deerhurst where the dance competition was being held.

Hotel was old and not maintained very well. Room was not cleaned one day and they did not leave any extra toilet paper - we ran out which has never happened in all my travels. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

It was dirty. No service provided for the Gym, the spa, the room. They were understaffed. No help carrying the luggage. The menu at the restaurant was fast food. This hotel should be rated not more than 1 star. The nearest restaurant was 16 km away!

    Very nice staffs, good location

Horrible hotel clean service, my girlfriend found hair everywhere in toilet. And on 6 am we got a wake up call which we never asked. TBH , the hotel service doesn't match its star level, I think location is a bonus.

    5PaulPosted on: 10-6-2016

Room very spacious with two large beds and plenty of space to move around.

Many mosquitoes and micro organisms flying around in the kitchen. Air conditioning unit quite noisy.

    7Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 8-14-2016

The location and accessiblility to the lake and beach.

Wasn't very impressed with the room, wasn't expecting to be in the basement level. Not able to open the curtains often, made the room very dark. Bathroom very small, had to turn sideways to open the door.

    9Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 8-1-2016

Good location, Excellent private beach which has very beautiful view. Can use free canoe, free peddal boat. Also can use indoor/outdoor small pools.

Breakfast is not free. A little bit expensive. The view in my roon was parking lot...

Ski hill and location to lake

The staff in the restaurant were very rude. We were the only people in the restaurant, made an advance reservation and 3 of the wait staff would refuse to seat us at a window table. We got stuck in the corner at the back corner. Service was slow

    5Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 3-2-2016

The location near skiing hills and Arrowhead, and the surrounding views are great.

The check-in time is rather late (4pm), I had hoped to relax in a hot tub in the pool area after a day out in the snow - but their is none, and the restaurant menu didn't offer any finger-foods for my teenagers (nachos, fries, etc.)

    8DavePosted on: 10-18-2015

Free upgrade to balcony lake view.

    No elevator.

    9Verified Hotel GuestPosted on: 10-13-2015

    the view of the lake.

there was a couple arguing for 2+ hours in room beside ours. A call was placed to the front desk but the fighting continued. We then had to walk down to front desk and they sent someone to tell them to be quiet.
