food left in frig, no kitchen amenities, deck seating poor, silver fish (bugs) in bathroom, drawers filled with winter blankets, door to DR. very dirty, carpet in room very dirty, need more than 1 toaster, food got cold, water temp varies. Will NOT return

I liked the grounds they were large could play frisbee and lot of grass area.

I did not like the old furniture, I did not like that was not great swing set for children.

The room was clean and comfortable with a nice view of the lake. Booking and check in/out wee all on line and easy.

I had no issues.

The cottages are not clean. They need renovation

Cleaness and the comfort of the cottage. They can do much better as the location is great but the cottages need updates.

We have stayed here for four winters now. The location is lovely and it’s a quick drive wherever you’d like to go. The place is cottage-y but clean and comfortable. This last stay we had trouble with a new heating system in a cottage we had stayed in before not being able to keep the whole building warm. The front desk staff offered immediate short-term help and the manager, Pascale, was amazing at helping us come up with a solution to stay that took into account the heating issue that meant we couldn’t enjoy the whole cottage.

New heating system needs some help to maintain heat throughout the large cottage.

Easy to locate. Spacious, clean. Lake front. Easy for a one nighter.

Very dated. Looks like it was a great little old school family resort, back in its hay day. Fixtures, beds, couch, deck, bathroom and amenities very dated. If someone could invest in this, and bring it back, I’m sure it would do well.

Location was great. A lovely and relaxing hotel on a nice lake.

Maybe a bit more storage for food items in the area near the fridge.

The place is great about 10 minutes from Hansville and 40 minutes from Algonquin Park where we wanted to get to. We got a large and spacious unit, clean, private, quiet. Located on the shore of a beautiful lake.

There were no outlets for charging devices in the bedroom.

We just returned from a fantastic stay at the Tally Ho Inn Cottage and are already planning our next trip! From the moment we walked in, we were struck by how incredibly clean the cottage was—truly spotless, which made us feel instantly comfortable and relaxed.The location is absolutely wonderful. If you love nature, you'll adore this spot; it's a great place to just hang out among the trees, enjoying the peaceful, secluded atmosphere. We spent hours relaxing on the deck surrounded by the woods.And for families? It’s fantastic for children! Our kids had a blast exploring safely, and the whole property felt designed for a fun, stress-free family experience. It’s the ideal blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. Highly recommend the Tally Ho Inn Cottage for an unforgettable, clean, and nature-filled family vacation!

It was in the middle of an attached unit, but the walls were insulated enough that you didn't hear your neighbours and I had a beautiful view of the lake.

we have been coming here for 3 years now twice a year, once in july and once in august , up until this august we were happy with everything and couldn’t say enough good about our stay, but this time it was a little frustrating, we have our daughters come for the day on occasion and we were reminded that only 3 were allowed in our cottage birchgrove 10 also when we getting ready to leave not even out of the cottage yet the lady came down wanting to check the cottage out for what reason i’m not sure we have never been noisy or disrespectful and always kept the cottage clean as we are an older couple, i didn’t think any of this was appropriate at all. we love this place and will be back but I hope this doesn’t happen again.

Accomodation have everything you need and as describe online. Very clean and cozy room.We enjoyed the use of kayaks that is included as well as the use of volleyball.Love that the property have a small but private beach and also accessible to the public beach and boat launch that is only steps away. Kids enjoyed fishing off the dock.Check in and out is easy and staff are great.

wish there is no fireban so we can use the firepit to roast some marshmallows, but this is not the property's fault though.Would have made it more enjoyable though for the kids.

Great location, beautiful view, the stone fireplace added a nice ambiance to the main room.

Could use air-conditioning, the main room could be cleaner cob webs in the corners by the fireplace and the floor could be cleaner

Very toddler friendly, shallow beached areas for young kids to play without having to worry to much
