Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Medicine Hat Highway 1

We were there for a week. We enjoyed the hotel and the staff were Great. The pool, sauna and hot tub were Great. We really enjoyed the breakfast. Everything was kept full and a great selection. Thanks Bob and the team.

Fantastic staff. Good price. Decent breakfast with enough room that it was not crowded or waiting in line. Pool and exercise equipment accessible and in good shape.

Old and dated hotel, with construction and upgrades in process but very visible.

Didn?t stay, room had odour that affected wife?s breathing

Everything and I called to get a refund and was never a call returned and we never checked in

The front desk tried his best to gave me others room but same problem ,rooms no clean and no bedsheets change .

The room wasn?t clean and someone saw inserts around bathroom & windows and on the floor and the bedsheets with some hair on it mean they didn?t change it .I canceled after they show me 3rooms both same no clean and dust on the top of bed .

Well-lit parking lot, friendly staff, clean bed, towels and room.

Hotel is close to the number 1 highway, it is a bit noisy. Not a lot of restaurant closed by.

The hotel is clean and quiet, they serve a good breakfast with sausage, eggs, hashbrowns. not just your standard toast and pancakes, The staff was very friendly and helpful.

mattress was like a Marsh mellow. No support whatsoever, baseboards were standing away from the wall. I refused to remove my socks the entire time we were there. It had a very stale smell to it, carpets really needed to be cleaned. Couldn't sleep.

the rate !!! Staff was most willing to help. The dry sauna was nice.

the amenities: hot tub covered with a dusty cover and temp was low so did not use it. Hotub pool table ( coin operated and in poor condition ), dry sauna and exercise room are in the basement with a narrow hall that was unlighted. Exit lites were on.

Hot water and heat was good, cleaning staff helpful!

Front desk checked me into a vacant room twice,cable was poor!

Price was fair and I just needed a clean shower and a good bed.

Desk clerk was poor. She spoke to me and then spoke to her phone and I could not tell when when was speaking to me. When I asked her where my room was, she waved her hand in a direction and told me it was second floor. Useless.

Old, rooms were very stuffy. Screens in pool almost all ripped up. Self serve area dirty counters, dirty tables, all drink vending machines empty in all locations. We will go back to newer hotel that we previously stayed at, cost the same but new

Very friendly staff and great location.

Asked for a receipt and was told I would get one sent to my email. Never did get one. 😡. Not happy!

Location was great, breakfast was great.

We sat in the hot tub and it was not the cleanest.

The beds are so comfortable, the pillows, mattress, the towels in the hotel............love staying here. Breakfast was great too.

Medicine Hat doesn't seem to have any hotels downtown, so this was the closest I could find. About a 25 min walk to the downtown core. Staff was very nice and friendly.

The rooms are basic, with older furniture etc. More a place to sleep after a fun day than somewhere where you would want to spend time in the motel. That said it was quiet and clean. Didn't check the pool though, it might be very nice.

 

Looked better online. Old motel being refurbished. May be better in future after repairs made

Tout était parfait.

Our room wasn't very clean. A wooden stir stick was left on the one bed, a sticky residue on the bedside table, and the luggage stand was sticky. Our room was rundown, although it appears the hotel is undergoing renovations and we just got an old room.
