Alpine Lodge Motel & Restaurant

This hotel is a basic, non-luxury, hotel and we had a room with a kitchenette. It is a place that you stay, checkout, and go buy some breakfast (unless you want to cook something). It did the job and was a good value for us.

Upgraded us to a kitchen suite for the same price and near the office! Awesome restaurant with incredible dishes, very tasty! Helpful staff to find destinations around town.

Bed was comfortable

Very dated, everything was old. Bad reception on the TV, door lock on backwards, giant spiders, fridge smelled, phone but nowhere to plug it in, no smoke detector. It was only one night passing through, bed was good...not much else.

The location was excellent for restaurants, shopping and access to hiking trails.The staff was friendly and helped in every way.

The lighting in the room could have been brighter.

The room was spacious and well-supplied.

Not enough elbow room between toilet bowl and the vanity.

Bad

Broken box spring on one bed, missing smoke detector and stuff piled up outside doors. Overcharged on pet deposit according to what was stated on front counter. Then weren't going to return it.

conveniently located on the main drag, easy check in, plug ins for cold weather at every stall, new TV, small kitchen and microwave in room.

Floors, baseboards, entire bathroom and walls all looked like they needed to be power-washed. Everything very dated, could use a remodel. Fairly certain the bedding was swapped, but nothing was wiped down or vacuumed during the day when we were out.The price was great but we got exactly what we paid for.....

Decent location, large room

Charged more than booking.com indicated.

It was easily accessible. The room was big with a coffee machine. All was pretty cozy and clean.

That it was right beside an often used street. It was pretty loud at all times, so noise sensitive people be aware.Also it was really warm inside my room. The first thing I did when I came in was turning down the heater to minimum heat but strangely that did not make it better.

The room was sandwiched a bit into a stairwell, but it was accessable for parking in front. It's an older building and a bit scarred but OK clean.

There were some rowdies in another room but that's not the motel's fault.

under new management and they have done a good job at updating. Great location, good internet, easy & out checkin so would stay here again

Did not like anything about it.

I had booked 2 beds and when I arrived they gave me a room with one bed. Finally got the two bed room. No AC. Cold water in the bath tub did not work. There were very few electrical outlets. Overall, a very bad experience.

Parking, price and location. A good place if you are travelling without children. Friendly staff.

Fridge didn’t cool my drinks even though they were in all night. ALSO DOESN'T HAVE AIR CONDITIONING AND I WAS THERE during HEAT WAVE. EVERY HoTEL SHOULD HAVE AIR CONDITIONING

The Alpine Motel is a wonderful little gem in Grande Cache. Although it’s a older property it is so well kept, exceptionally clean and the staff are amazing. We had a great stay with peace and quiet waking up to the beautiful view of the mountains.

The check in was simple. Room was clean.

The only issue I had was the cold water tap on the shower seemed to be stuck. Good thing I like hot showers.

Very friendly staff. The rooms are huge, and have nice kitchens. Very comfortable.

The service was fast. Booking and checkout processes were very fast. The location is good. It’s got an A&W next door. The room was much larger than expected.

Staff walked into my locked room as I was getting dressed. No knock, no call, just the sound of someone unlocking and opening the door and then seeing the clerk peering in at me. He apologized, but really this shouldn’t have happened in the first place. It was 8am too so it’s not like I was late for checkout.That aside, the bed was stiff and the lighting was abysmal.

Friendly staff, I liked the room there's a kitchenette and tub is functional - deep enough, I also liked that there's a fan because the aircon is loud.

No elevators, breakfast don't have hot foods
