Shared bathroom facilities are offered in each dormitory room at HI Vancouver Downtown. A common kitchen is provided for guest use at HI Vancouver Downtown. A guest lounge, a games room and library provide relaxation options. Sunset Beach and Robson St are both within 10 minutes’ walking distance from this hostel. Vancouver Aquarium is 1.9 mi away. Hosteling International is a membership organization. All nonmembers can purchase a membership card upon arrival or an additional fee will be added to the room rate. Pros +
- Clean, quiet, good breakfast (and no need to wash own dishes).
- I liked the friendly staff and how clean it was. The room was great and the bed was nice to sleep in. The bathroom/shower area was clean and well maintained. Key-less entry into the room and it was not noisy at all.
Cons -
- Room was too warm. Rolling storage cages under lower bunk are a little noisy, and my standard padlock wouldn't fit them (shackle too thick).
- No, my experience was great and I will return to this hotel when I return to Vancouver in the future.
