    Pros +

    • Staff was absolutely above and beyond, the room was quiet, bed comfortable, and access to fresh air with a patio was a plus. It's a little oasis in an excellent location in the city.
    • Great staff that were extremely friendly and eager to please.
    • The staff! Everyone was super helpful and very personable. And the room was very well appointed.

    Cons -

    • Could have used few more amenities in room I.e wine glasses but otherwise I love the vibe of this hotel.
    • The only thing that would have improved my stay is the option of a flatter pillow on the bed, the ‘fat’ pillows are too high for me so I end up sleeping with no pillow…
    • Nothing really. We had a wonderful stay.

I like the scale of this hotel, it’s in a convenient location that feels a little quiet while in the downtown area

The only thing that would have improved my stay is the option of a flatter pillow on the bed, the ‘fat’ pillows are too high for me so I end up sleeping with no pillow…

Staff was amazingly friendly, facilities were very well kept and stylish, and our room was very comfortable. Also liked the size of the hotel.

Nothing really. We had a wonderful stay.

Welcoming staff, comfortable bed and bathroom, hot tub and steam room.

    8MylesPosted on: 2-10-2026

All staff were so kind and wonderful, making us feel very welcomed and well taken care of. The room was spacious, facilities were nice and the in-room dining was delicious.

The room felt slightly dated and the amenities within the room felt slightly bare, although did meet every need. It was unfortunate that there was no turn down service.

Immaculate. Well decorated. Attentive and warm staff

    10MichellePosted on: 2-9-2026

Staff were friendly and provided excellent service. One staff member made sure had elevator access from self park. The L'Orangerie staff accommodated a late arrival for the hot chocolate special after coming back from the VSO. The breakfast atmosphere was excellent and the hot tub and pool have always been well maintained.

Our room was set at 80 degrees F when we arrived. Turned down and opened a window and it cooled off quickly. Self park stalls are very narrow - not really a hotel issue.

Very lovely staff - were curious about our visit (staycation for my partner's birthday) and surprised him with a nice box of chocolates.

    Nothing of note!

It’s a great hotel. We have stayed many times.

My hotel booking was phished and I received numerous fake What’s App messages prior to my stay. Either the hotel’s booking system with Booking.com was hacked or the Booking.com was hacked. Either way it is the customer that suffers these unwarranted and stressful messages (especially when received during a long series of airline and airport delays). Such intrusions only damage the reputations of the hotel and Booking.com and the willingness of the customer to trust this booking process in the future. Trying to contact Booking.com support was very difficult. Let’s hope a great hotel together with Booking.com can improve their security and customer service with regard to this.

Great stay for two nights in Vancouver and in a good location for sporting events or a concert. Breakfast at Cafe Medina next door was amazing! Staff was really great!!!

Nothing really. An extra blanket in the room would have been nice and not enough outlets by the nightstands but those are preferences and little.

Nice big, clean rooms, fitness facility, and lounge on the 5th floor.

Our main complaint concerns parking. You promote valet parking, but there is also general self-parking in the same building for far less money. I believe you should allow access from the hotel to the parking, perhaps by activating our room key. We were forced to walk around the building instead of just using your elevators, which was unnecessarily inconvenient. Also, coffee in your lobby would be a nice touch, since breakfast wasn't provided. Otherwise, a positive experience.

Hot rub was great..restaurant is outstanding. The customer service : one of the best

The parking.. the $ 45 rate with the extras became almost 70 a night..that was crazy.. not happy that it wasn't complimentary.. the swimming pool is not heated...

Great small boutique hotel great location, excellent staff. Reasonable price.

Pillows were too hard , price for hot chocolate during hot chocolate festival too high.

    7DavidPosted on: 1-19-2026

Size of room, especially the bathroom. bed firmness,

    Noise from ventilation system.

Staff went above and beyond. Gave us chocolate for our anniversary. Fantastic location, comfortable bed well appointed rooms very clean.

The staff behind the desk, at the door, housekeeping team all excellent attitudes, service and support. 1st class trained professional team.

The poor price-value. Our room was nice when walking in but upon closer inspection its tired, worn and dated. Blackout drapes let the light through as they are dry rotted. The crown moldings were bruised and blacked in many spots from being hit, The grout in the bathroom tile was filthy and towels were horribly worn (same with pool towels). The sheen off the bathtub was worn out.
