Valemount Hotel

Many black hairs on the room floor. Very old bed sheets. Suspect they weren’t even changed. The toilet seat didn’t fit and both wifi addresses didn’t work. We couldn’t bring ourselves to sleep in that bed and walk across the floor in bare feet!

Staff was very friendly, they are trying to upgrade by the looks of it.

Very run down, the train goes by almost every 40 mins and is crazy load

Ok place to stay if you need just a clean bed and a hot shower.

Train noise made me smile

Everything..... the place was dirty and dusty. Because it is an older building no air conditioning just a small dirty fan. The place had not been dusted or cleaned very well. The beds are old and hard. Just not worth the money.

Hotel was dirty not well maintained. Needs at least one ice machine staff was nice helpful. cable did not work on the tv only one fuzzy station. free wifi was included.

The bed was very substandard. The television was extremely old and had only 2 television stations which were fuzzy The train tracks were across the street. The trains are traveling past very frequently blowing their horns.

It was not expensive. It had the basics. It was clean.

The hotel is within feet of train tracks. Trains pass by about every hour and blow their whistle VERY LOUDLY. The hotel needs to put this in their description. By the time you arrive to find out the location is horrible, it is too late to cancel.

The lady at the desk was pleasant and helpful.

There were hairs in the bed sheets in room #1. We asked to change rooms and there were hairs in the next room as well. The attendant did put new sheets on for us. the mattresses were very uncomfortable and we got no sleep due to passing train whistles.

After paying for this hotel room, we went to the room and discovered that this should not even be called a hotel, the room was disgusting and outdated, staines on the bed sheets, TV from the 60's, no elevator, the office was in the Bar, the room smells of

I would not have booked into this location if I had known there where train tracks right across the road with trains running thru the night and that the towns only bar was located right under our room with loud music and talking till 1:30 in the am.

Reasonable price. Friendly staff. Older building with up-dates.

Room was very warm. Supplied a fan but it did little to cool the room down..Very close to the train tracks.

We knew in booking this was a dated but comfortable lodging. The staff were great and the Chinese food good and lots of it. We had trouble with the TV sattilight but were offered another room.... a great time!I !

Decent price. Clean room. The train in the distance. Lucky Panda Restaurant was good. Availability on short notice (we lucked out!)

You might wanna look at some cheap, window mount air conditioners. Fan was helpful though. TV was pretty much useless. Three channels with poor reception. Maybe satellite would help? Not a big deal for two tired adults. Thanks!

No air conditioning in this old building, they put a fan in the room. My room is above the kitchen of the restaurant, when I opened the window for fresh air, the noise of the exhaust fan is annoying. Luckily, temperature cools down at night.

Cosy room, nice bed, and nice shower, all you need.

Some small details, like maybe a light for the room and not only above the bed and position of the light above the bed to low.
