Friendly receptionist

Nonsmoking room smelled strongly of old smoke. Plumbing was hooked up backwards in both sink and shower.

The hotel was clean and tidy,excellent reception when I arrived,continental breakfast was great,would stay here again.

Most everything in town (Valemont, BC) is closed on Mondays. Motel had no restaurant. Hotel staff gave poor directions to local restaurants. Room was expensive for what it was: poor amenities and not clean.

The bathroom wasnt terribly impressive and had lots of hair on the walls.

Very clean. Friendly management. Great value for price. Definitely recommended.

The owner was very friendly, a pleasure to meet and talk with. Check in was quick and easy. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Check out was also easy, and owner gave my daughter a small gift, which we appreciated. A very friendly man with all the guests from what I could see, top notch service.

The cost of the room was a bit high.

Clean and comfortable. Staff welcoming and accommodating. We could see a lot of renovations that had been done. Bed was very comfy!

Bathroom still needs renovation, but clean.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. The couple managing the motel were very pleasant. Although it's older, we still enjoyed our stay. Because the amenities were few, we did feel it was a bit overpriced. Hint: There is not an elevator for the second floor, so you may want to keep that in mind if there are mobility considerations The manager was kind enough to give us a room on the first floor.

A cart to help one carry luggage to the room would have been appreciated.

The staff were very friendly.

Inside it is clean, but it definitely needs an update - or at least a fresh coat of paint. The communal barbecue is in severe disrepair and the picnic area in the back which could be a selling point (it is surrounded by pretty evergreen trees) is ruined by junk lying around. Actually, there are a lot of old ac units just sitting around. It has a bit of a junkyard feeling.

Room 117 - Spacious, clean room with good AC, excellent water pressure for hot/cold water, nice shampoo, soap, make up remover, coffee make in the room.

Can hear footsteps for above rooms. Hot tub look yellowish and with lots of sand in bottom, so we didn’t use it.

Nice local town. Dinner options could have been better. Possible to get wonderful breakfast in the town.

Receptionist could have behaved more polite. No possibility of sitting outside of room in the basement.

Proximity to the Highway and restaurants, very good hair dryer, comfortable bed, big and new fridge, good size room, warm welcome from the reception, easy to check in and out, other visible areas of the room clean

The carpet needs shampooing, spider on the bed, rusty and dusty heater

Room was updated and very nice/clean. A nice balcony with a forest view also. Exceeded expectations.

Only negative was the pillow was too high for our liking and only 1 to choose from instead of multiple pillows to choose.

Nicely renovated, very clean, comfortable bed, friendly desk and service staff. Easy parking and close to restaurants. A Keurig coffee system was available with fresh pods.

WiFi only worked when volume was low (before 3 PM and after 8 PM), The plumber that renovated the bathroom must have been in a rush because the Hot & Cold taps were reversed and the toilet seat was loose and didn't fit properly. This property was expensive but may be in concert with other available properties.

Location was super good. Very quiet. Staff was super friendly.

Some moist air and smell in the room, although not affecting the overall comfortability.
