The Schooner Motel is located in the city center of Tofino, within 5 minutes’ walk of several restaurants. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms and coffee and tea is provided in the lobby. A small refrigerator is provided in every room of this Tofino motel along with a fireplace. Some units offer a fully kitchen for added convenience or an ocean view. A coin-operated launderette is on site at the Tofino Schooner Motel. Every room on the property offers cable TV and free parking is possible on site. This motel is within 328 feet of the Co-Op Food Store. The Tofino City Skatepark is just 5 minutes’ walk away.

Only Visa and Mastercard is accepted. Please note, the property prohibits the cooking of fish and crab in all guest rooms. A penalty will apply. Please be advised that we reserve the right to cancel your reservation if your credit card is invalid or if the transaction is declined for any reason. We would like to inform that there is a road closure from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm. Please make a trip accordingly. If you are going to arrive after the mentioned time periods, you must call the motel at 250-725-3478 and arrange it before. Our office hours are from 8:30am-8:30pm. Our check in time is 3:00 pm. - Location and convenience Loved all the flowers and plants and that it is well taken care of!
- The location. Sheets and towels appeared clean and there was a little balcony with no view, but it was outdoor space.
Cons -
- Shower was very slow running so you end up with 4" of water in the tub. No one empties the trash and I got in on a Sunday, left on a Friday. I think someone from the hotel should come in at least every three days.
- The beds are rock hard and pillows were not comfortable.
- There only appeared to be one woman that works there and she was not very friendly upon check-in. She appeared to literally just be running everywhere. The rooms are extremely dated with hard beds.
