Beachside Motel

Location couldn't be better for beach access. It's clean.

Everything in our room was very old.

Close to Skaha Lake. Proprietor was kind enough to give us upgrade to room that included two bedrooms and kitchen.

Terrible parking lot. Very tight space and nighmarish location of planter at front of the area.

We stayed here before and enjoy the closeness to the park and beach to walk our dogs

It is a older motel and could use some updating.

I liked the check-in process, cleanliness, a special features available for guests (BBQ, water cooler, air compressor for floaties, nice outdoor seating)

Location is fantastic, but the place can use some updating. The room I stayed in would be comfortable for a small family as it is equipped with a small kitchen. One of the beds shared the space with the kitchen, though.

In the off-season, the front office closes at 5 PM. So, for the later checkout, you need to call someone to come in.

Location, 2 rooms

Stained carpets, chairs etc. Curtains were hanging crooked, and we couldnt straighten or close. Place needs maintenance and updating. I would love to redecorate it and could do a lot with a minimal cost. Buying a carpet cleaner would help- and the stains and wear on the toilet seats were disgusting. It could look so much better. I'll trade you some ideas and work for a few days accomodation anytime!!

Close to the beach, good for a family!

The beds are outdated spring mattresses which were uncomfortable and there was only AC in the bedroom which didn’t help the people sleeping in the living area so it was hot.

Low cost for a basic, clean, small space. Quiet, close to parks and beach. Good hot water for showers. Fine for a one night stay.

The bed was creaky when you moved and was passable for comfort. Glad I brought my own pillow as the pillows provided were too firm. Be careful having a shower as the bathtub is slippery.

2minute walk by park to beach.Lovely lawn in courtyard with tables and picnic benches and barbecues.Sun and shade.Large room.

Asked for south facing but got north.Okay as we didn’t spend much time there.No chairs outside our room.

The location is Fantastic and the staff go out of their way to help you and make you feel at home. My family and I try and make this a yearly trip and Beachside is our go to spot. Thanks so much for another great vacation!

The rooms are a bit dated, but it actually adds to the charm to be honest. The mattresses and pillows aren't terrible but they could be updated, still fairly comfortable though. It really is a great place to stay.

Property is very close to the beach. Love the location. Staff is very nice and friendly.

We’ve stayed at the Beachside Motel a few times in the past. However, this time around the floor room was absolutely dirty and sticky. The dishes were wet. Even the carpet felt extremely dirty. Overall, the room we stayed at was not clean.

Clean and it felt like welcoming.

It’s an older place and although the parking is free it is crowded with all the vehicles.

My family loves the place and it so convenient for us because it is very near to the lake.The receptionist is very welcoming, friendly and helpful to us.

Everything is nice and clean! We'll definitely come back here next time.

Mattresses are firm, but it depends what you like. All my family members are happy, but I like the memory foam mattress.

Room was spacious with a full size fridge and location is great.

Although the room appeared clean, the floor was filthy. Our socks and feet were black. Definitely wear slippers or sandals.
