Hôtel Albert par G5

It was close to what we wanted to visit. I would have said more below but ran out of space. After mentioning about no house cleaning at check out, all they could say was sorry. We go up there usually 2 times a year. Next time is a different hotel.

Hotel rate. We are a Best Western member. Without warning they are no longer with Best Western. We were there for 2 nights, on the second day we asked for room cleaning. Put sign on door and ask at desk. Nothing happened. Never going there again.

Location & car Park

No way to boil water for tea. No Laundry / was told down there somewhere about 10min Room almost hermetically sealed, with no opening on the single window and no way to obtain freash air, dusty, quickly heated up after switching off A/C.

The restaurant inside the hotel, the discount coupons for a nearby restaurant and the coffee machine in the room (even if there was not much cups!).

The parking is far from the hotel, on the street back of it. We would have appreciate that the employee tells us where and how to bring our luggages in the hotel, instead of walking from the other street with it. We've found a simpliest way by ourselves.

Good location, nice gym

Cold breakfast.It would be nice to have something hot food.

The proximity to restaurants, the main reason I used to stay here when travelling to the area

There was an odd smell in the room and through the hotel. The continental breakfast was lacking a lot, coffee was warm at best.

Close to water and main streets

The hotel had a strong smell of perfume when you entered and in hallways

Everything is amazing, the gym is fantastic. The rooms are big and comfortable. The hotel is well situated and the people working there are just awesome.

The only down points, are that the room could have more lights. It is hard to work from there because it's really dark and the breakfast is really deceiving

Thé gym is fully renovated and well equipped. This is how all gyms in hotels should be at a minimum

Noise.Noise constantly, everywhere.A/C from neighbouring rooms going on and off all night. Even at quietest moments there was still a loud buzzing sound.Also windows don’t open, so it can get stuffy inside, there is no ventilation anywhere.Finally, the breakfast made want to cry. Little comfort was offered by petrol-tasting coffee and freezer-cold, hard boiled eggs after such a bad night.

The location

Bathroom not maintained. Shower head broken, toilet seat loosen.

- the bedroom is spacious and comfortable - the staff was very friendly and helpful

- the breakfast was terrible (very few options and the quality was disappointing)

the walls are thin and you can hear everything out side your room.

The street directly In front of hotel was blocked off we weren't aware till we arrived. The elevator was tiny and a rough ride. After one shower the shower curtain smelled horrendous and finally it said beverages ie drink machines i assume were available on second floor but we never found them

downtown location

the room had missing items, no outlets between that required me to use my emergency extension cords to power chargers and no maid service, even though door hangers were there suggesting such service if needed.

Hotel was nice, rooms were a good size and very nice beds, comfortable. I loved the duvets.Great Keurig coffee machine in room. Breakfast was continental style but lots of goodies. Again the coffee was excellent. The kids liked it too. Going out the front door, you were on a lovely walking promenade easily reaching many stores, boutiques and restaurants. Charming.

As the street off the front door to the hotel was closed off to all car traffic, it was very confusing trying to find how to get in to the hotel. You had to drive around the back, enter the parking, then find the back door which was way at the back of the parking lot. Parking area was big. Really the only inconvenience. The hotel should have sent a note to let us know so we didn't have to drive around in circles for awhile.

The room was very nice except maybe the shower head was over due for a CLR treatment; the water was coming out in several directions at once.The coffee maker in the breakfast room is excellent!

The breakfast. Last time (two years ago) there was bread and a commercial toaster, this time there wasn't. Last time there was a waffle maker, this time there wasn't. One of the reasons I came back and recommended the hotel to my son's curling team mates' parents was the breakfast.- There was only one flavour of yogurt.- My last day, there was no milk so the cereal wasn't put out.- Only two selections of cereal.- More unhealthy pastries than anything else worth eating.- It was nearly impossible to make a complete and healthy meal out of what was available.

Comfortable bed, good linens, friendly staff, great location, bonus points for the breakfast and EV charging station! Would definitely stay again.

Found the room a little dark, there was a buzzing noise coming from the hallway I could hear, the bathroom is fan really loud.

The location was great. We could walk anywhere from the hotel. The hotel room was fine.

It was pretty noisy. The main thing we were disappointed with was the breakfast. We went out for breakfast because for us, breakfast without toast is not breakfast!

I loved the cozy feeling of the hotel, and the location. Beautiful area to walk in along the water.

I did not like the incredibly small elevator.

Website stated full breakfast however you had to order a la carte and could only choose one of a selection of breakfast options. There were extra charges for certain menu items. Also coffee machine in room didn't work properly.
