There were 2 staff members that were very pleasent. The morning staff member I found to be a little rude. She came acrossed as annoyed to be helping us. The room itself was large and spacious but there were stains on the carpet and it did feel dirty.

My only complaint is that breakfast for only one person is included (you need to buy a second coupon). This seems to be a flaw with the booking.com page, not with the hotel itself - the hotel desk explains their policy clearly, and the staff were very friendly (and apologetic) in clarifying it, but the booking.com page simply says that breakfast is included.

Carpet in unit was dirty and worn needs to be replaced, breakfast was in a paper bag. Was disgustingly poor choice on their part..half muffin and quarter of an apple wrapped up.not what we expected.

Flexibility of the hotel to accommodate guests arriving after midnight on the ferry from Prince Rupert.
The owners should put more effort into exterior building maintenance and cleanliness. Because we were in a dog-friendly room (in my opinion) our view of the harbour was blocked by a mossy, puddled and dirty flat roof over a first floor entrance. Wood decay was evident.
