Hilton La Romana, an All-Inclusive Family Resort

It is a beautiful beach location. The hotel well maintain, very clean. Food is really good with a lot of options. Staff is very friendly. I will definitely go back.

Location, beach, service.

People trying to sell La Playa collection at the lobby - aggressive sales tactics and not transparent. Run away from people trying to sell this at the lobby. Our experience was compromised by this approach.

This resort’s rooms and restaurants and the facilities in general were exceptional.The water park with its slides and lazy river were a child’s dream.The distance between all the amenities was short contributing to the positive experience.

The size of the beach, the clarity of the ocean water, and the presence of seaweed both on the surface and the ocean floor were a negative. There was also a lack of snorkeling and equipment options which were a bit disappointing.

I really enjoyed the property. There were many amenities, good choices of restaurants, very clean and friendly staff. I especially liked having the coffee bar in the lobby. Food was delicious.

Everything was amazing!!! Everything, food excellent, facility is excellent people were fantastic , service and the guys by the main pool bar were fantastic and also the guys by the bar next to the grill restaurant the best Ramon, Jc and the others one I forgot his name were spectacular

The stay was wonderful. Things for improvement : for common guests there are very little shade on the beach. But , If you are Eclave guest you can find palm tent and trees . This was a little unfair in my opinion , but we had a great anyway!Best restaurants : buffet/ Italian and Peruvian! The staff is all so nice and professional.The hotel is beautiful and very well maintained.

Aww the beach and pool was amazing. Love that they have different things to do for families and adults. The check in Staff where great.The staff by the family pool by the lobby they were all great. The room size was great. The beds were nice and comfortable. This place is so big . Kids water park _the lazy river was fun. My kids loved it.

The buffet style is great but some food weren't what I was expecting. For instance mangue a dominican dish was tasteless. The kitchen staff not the ones serving the drinks. The ones that you give your plate to get the food you want. They not so friendly. Even though they had mask on you can still hear and see people's expression and I felt like they didn't want to be bothered. The room floors looked like they were dirty but I think It's just the style of the floor. The bathroom shower door didn't close properly so the water would come out.

The location of the resort was great. The beach was very enjoyable.

The management mistreated my wife and me. We booked an Ocean Front room. They gave us a pool view room instead and tried to convince us that the room was just as good. We had to insist that we get what we paid for. They eventually acknowledged that they should have given us what we booked. But we’d have to spend our first 24 hours in the lower grade room because they didn’t have any availability. We couldn’t unpack fully until after they moved us to our ocean front room the next day. An article of clothing was left behind when they moved our luggage to the new room. They were uncooperative helping me get them back and they were uncooperative giving us a financial settlement for the day we spent in the lower grade room.

I liked the staff at kids area. I also like the cleanness of the entire facility. I liked the fact that you don't have to reserve at any restaurant jut go a few minutes earlier and reserve there. I liked that they have a coffee place open really early in the morning with everything included (might be 24 hours I am not sure) . The general beach area is very nice . There was some algae in the water though but nothing that would make you stay away from the sea. Enclave specific: If you are enclave you DO get quality beer ONLY at the enclave pool area. I also liked having snacks in the enclave reception.I also liked the water park area. Although its not for children under 1.20 mts so my son could not go , we did do the lazy river and its nice. also grown ups can enjoy this as well.

Entertainment is not so good. and it ends really early. I felt bored after 9 PM everyday at this hotel (not for the kids though. I think kids entertainment ended later, like mini disco). Food was common, not great. Not much else though pretty good except for price I felt it lacked much better entertainment and also better food and drinks for the price payed here. IF it where cheaper then id say you get great price/QualityENCLAVE drinks specifics: If you are enclave I would not recommend it unless you are a beer person that doesn't like "President" beer and you are willing to get stuck by the pool and not go to the beach. I was enclave and We would always get a cold corona or Heineken beer. This was specially good for my couple who only drinks beer. The only problem as mentioned above is that those beers are only in the pool in the enclave area. Not at the beach. If you spend you day near the beach (like us) then you don't have beers except #presidente#. Although hotel does mention an enclave bar near the beach "on the rocks" I think is the name. That bar always told us that there are no cold beers except president or that they are out of those beers. Sometime it has happened to us that other people near beach tiped the waiter and they got cold millers. But we would ask for those and they would deny having cold millers (I guess because we did not tip) so overall my enclave experience not so good. Enclave beach: Enclave beach is actually not a beach its just an area that has some umbrellas (this is actually good as it is hard to get them in the general beach area) but its sort of a clif so to get in the sea you need to enter from the general beach area. So that's also not so good . I feel enclave should have some umbrellas saved in the general beach area and make the enclave area general .

In general hotel looks nice! Very friendly staff ! Very fast check in and check out ! The best experience in Enclave lounge !

Very strong Smell of mold in my room 4143 ! No name alcohol at the bar (cheap local ) The grill restaurant food was horrible! Breakfast buffet all food is under the glass ! Feels so uncomfortable to ask all the time for something unfriendly cooks! Not enough chairs at the beach have to wait 40 minutes till somebody give me extra chair!

- food was just okay. - internet kept dropping very hard to hold any remote meeting.

Excellent service, all the staff are excellent, The food was very good, the water park was excellent, They have childcare, different play areas for children, they give you water bike classes (the instructor is very good)… They give you slippers… The common bathrooms have air conditioning and a pleasant smell.

The bed was a bit noisy and not very comfortable, the pillows didn't smell very good, the bedspread was a bit old, they can improve those things; for the rest everything was great...

They need to work on sleep comfort pillows are old and flat. Maybe improve the buffet, many of the stations are in attended so you have to wait for people to come or call people from other stations. Not a huge issue but something they can improve

The food is perfect! Restaurants have very high quality food! The aqua park is very nice, the pool is very good, beautiful everything in general!

I think the beach was a little bit dirty!

The best for this business, is definitely, the staff service, that makes you feel great during your stay, starting with the man in first Garita at the entrance to the property and each one of the employees, 'Till you get your baggage and car back at the moment of the check out.Good infrastructure and beautiful nature (vegetation, sea land scape...). I loved the little birds around.

But: 1) All the food and drink is miserable, really bad. Just the snack bar in the "En Clave" reception is ok. 2) Since we arrived, the flusher for the toilet wasn't working... they send to "repair" but keep lacking a lot of noisy water in the tank permanently. 3) Bad quality of pillows made no comfortable sleep time.In conclusion it is expensive for the poor to bad quality you get back, if you know about what is the good gastronomy. It isn't worth it.

1) Managers and staff are arrogant and rude. If you are with children you are not welcome. 2) The mosquitoes ate us 3) Beach is very small. All the guests are bumped into each other on the beach. The hotel has over 600 rooms and only 16 umbrellas on the beach. We got up at 07:00 and the umbrellas were already taken. There are umbrellas on the beach in some enclosed places, which can only be used if you pay an extra $60 per day. If you are with children you can pass through this small beach but only one small part of it.

At 8:00am there are no beach and pool chairs available BUT nobody actually using them. Enclave check in staff a bit sarcastic when I asked about payment conflicting message from Booking.Food is average

Beautiful hotel, clean rooms, big and green territory of the hotel, many sun beds, nice aqua area. Phenomenal seaside with turquoise water.Some restaurants offer good food quality (dinner service mainly)

Slow service, some staff doesn’t speak English witch results in mistakes, old buffet area, bad selection of food, strange dishes with questionable quality, awful kids corner(nuggets, french fries, cold pasta). Unfortunately, me and my family had food poisoning. With kids you can use just one swimming pool or pay for premium service. Also you should buy bottle of wine if you don’t want to wait so long in a queue for dinner, which is ridiculous on all-inclusive resort.

Buffet Breakfast at the spice market was awesome staff was friendly and courteous. Gorde Avial not sure i spell the last name right was excellent and professional

The quality of the drinks could’ve been a bit better the chaser use to mix were not good. Room was a bit noisy from birds chirping that were living in the loft above. Room needs a bit of updating shower didn’t drain properly and leaked at the shower glass
