You are treated as if you are family. I loved everything about this Inn. The location was also perfect.
It was clean and well maintained. Hotel employee was very kind and accommodating. The breakfast was just right. I had an enjoyable weekend.
BnB was very clean, comfortable, and a great location. The owner has a great personality and made me feel very welcome. My wife and I are ditching hotel stays anytime we come back to town in the future. This will be our first option for the future stays.

Very clean rooms, very nice and helpful staff. Updated, no smells. Comfortable bed.
The room was clean. The staff was friendly. The bed was comfortable. Lots of green space for my pet, and the green space clean except for the occasional guest who didn't pick up after their pet. I loved that there is no carpet in the room!
Super clean and modern

Not much. The only competent person was the maintenance man. The owners did not speak any english, why were they able to get government money to buy this big motel? The satellite TV was not working properly and the phone in the room was not connected.
I didn't want to stay to experience anything past what I saw just in front of the building: the manager coming to help me followed by 2 emaciated looking females,2 dirty, empty vending machines, dirty, empty lobby, very unwelcoming and shady.
The price.

Top Tips
- Confirm your booking's state when traveling to Bluefield, as the city straddles the WV-VA state line and this can affect rates, tax, address details, and GPS navigation. Use the hotel address as entered in your booking when setting up GPS to avoid confusion, and if booking with a major chain, check if loyalty rewards or rates differ by state.
- Hotels situated on or just off I-77 offer easier driving and parking, reducing the chance of steep uphill walks and simplifying one-way street navigation. These locations are typically within a 0.5-mile radius of chain dining and major fuel stations, providing step-free parking and quick highway access for smoother arrivals and departures.
- Due to Bluefield's elevation around 2,500 feet, expect cooler summers and earlier, wetter winters; temperatures can shift by over 15°F (8°C) between day and night. Many hotels provide in-room climate control, so adjust heating or cooling as needed and pack a warm layer for evenings.
- Plan for ground transportation, as Bluefield lacks a major commercial airport and most hotels do not operate regular shuttle service. Use the hotel front desk to help arrange rental cars or transfers if booking last minute; taxi and rideshare availability after 21:00 is limited, so confirm wait times when you arrive.
- Verify cellular provider coverage before arrival; Verizon generally has the most reliable rural coverage in southern West Virginia. Hotel lobbies and some guest rooms offer complimentary Wi-Fi, but for streaming or remote work, confirm signal strength with the front desk, as rural coverage can fluctuate.
- If you have mobility needs, request a ground-floor or elevator-accessible room, as many downtown inns are historic and may have stairs and limited accessible options. Top hotel chains typically feature accessible rooms with step-free access and visual alarms, but contact local or independent inns directly to confirm availability before arrival.
- Most Bluefield hotels offer free onsite parking; confirm in advance if your vehicle is a truck or RV, since some lots are compact or have size limits. Major chains may post parking maps or signage online indicating truck/RV restrictions—review these before arrival if you need oversized parking.
- Expect local rate increases of 20-30% during Bluefield University homecoming or graduation weekends, usually in October and May. Book 2-4 weeks out to secure your preferred room type and loyalty benefits, as hotel occupancy can rise quickly around college events.
