Boarders Inn & Suites by Cobblestone Hotels - Ripon

Quiet with easy access to parking.

After I checked in, I went to my room and the heat had been turned off. I had to turn the heat on and then leave for about 2 hours to allow it to warm up. There were dirty wash cloths left on the shower curtain bar from a previous client.

Location and breakfast

Received a phone call at 12:15am from front desk wondering what time we had checked in that evening. Very frustrating because we were getting up early Saturday morning.

The bathroom had a bad smell, spread out in the rest of the room. Probably came from the drain in the bathroom floor.

Leaving it

The staff was unprofessional. The room was out of order when we arrived & there was no other room available. I¿m unsure why the room was available for online booking if it was not actually in working order - it should be pulled off the site until repaired

Location was fine for our purpose. Room was good size and bed comfortable.

Barking dog in next room (did get taken care of). Hot breakfast was not inedible. Eggs were dried up and crispy at 8:00 am. The waffle batter so thick you could not get it to dispense & staff did not try to fix - that was the night staff that set it up

The staff was excellent. I took my four kids there and had a great time in the pool. They loved the make your own waffles. I would definitely go back!!

The staff!! Always very nice and go out of there way if you have concerns.

The room, especially the bathroom need updated really bad. Breakfast was okay, but very scarce.

Location to Ripon College

Very accommodating. It was clean. They were welcoming. The front desk was very helpful, some system issues need to be worked out but the Manager showed up at the perfect time and assisted us immediately.

The check in system just needs to be ironed out. Reserved rooms vs. available need to be correct.

Hotel room had ants all over, crawled all over both beds. I complsuned and they cleaned room but ants were still there 2nd day. Slept with light on to try to kill ants.....Terrible no refund or discount offered.

It was a nice hotel. The staff was great for the most part.

When we checked out the clerk didn't even speak to me. I wanted to complain about the bed. It was such a horrible sleep-it felt like I was tilted towards my head.

The room could have been cleaner. Garbage still contained items in it when I checked in.

THe staff was very friendly. Our TV in the first room did not work and they upgraded us to a better room for same price.
