The room was very clean and the A/C worked good. This is a older motel but definitely updated inside. This was nostalgia for me. The Blackhawk is the way motels use to be and well worth a stay.

I loved how we were able to take our boys swimming even though we did not check in until 9:30 pm. They had a park across from the room we were staying in, along with a small arcade and both indoor and outdoor pool!

Clean comfortable large room. The bathroom was well lit and had a hairdryer and a heat lamp for warmth. There was plenty of light in the room, which seems to be becoming less common nowadays. My opinion is that this room was really amazing for the price!

Best hotel in the area for cleanliness, pools for the littles and money! Had we known how nice this place was, we would have stayed here for the entire week, but we stayed at four different places to experience different water parks.

It was a camper. We loved it. Was like having our own and was able to have a campfire. Wasn't told to bring own sheets, pillows, blanket and towels but we managed. It was very relaxing and quiet.

The room was very clean and the A/C worked good. This is a older motel but definitely updated inside. This was nostalgia for me. The Blackhawk is the way motels use to be and well worth a stay.

I loved how we were able to take our boys swimming even though we did not check in until 9:30 pm. They had a park across from the room we were staying in, along with a small arcade and both indoor and outdoor pool!

This is our 2nd time here. It is such a laid back, hands off hotel- we love it! We have an 8 and a 4 year old. They can swim as late as you want, beautiful bonfires every night, kayaks you can take out on your own anytime. Lake setting 5 min from downtown

Clean comfortable large room. The bathroom was well lit and had a hairdryer and a heat lamp for warmth. There was plenty of light in the room, which seems to be becoming less common nowadays. My opinion is that this room was really amazing for the price!
