Staff was great! No extra charges for the dogs. Great location right next to Applebees. Pool open until midnight for adults. Nice clean jacuzzi. Lots of nice touches such as free bottles of water and chips. Lots of towels and great rooms.
Great pool with tiny hot tub with liberal hours. Very comfy bed and room, and the hotel was quiet. Front desk staff was so professional, friendly, helpful. We were allowed to choose an hour later check-out at no cost. Great base for Olympic Game Farm.
The breakfeast and the staff helping with it were the only positive with my experience.

Top Tips
- Book your Sequim hotel 60-90 days ahead for July Lavender Festival weekends, as both independent inns and major chains fill quickly. Early booking helps secure a room for the festival or for general stays during this high-demand period. If booking late, set up alerts or join waitlists to catch last-minute cancellations.
- Schedule outdoor activities like Dungeness Spit or beach walks for mid-morning, when dry weather is most likely; Sequim averages only 16 inches (410 mm) of rain annually. Most major hotels offer free umbrella lending or gear dry rooms for guests if you encounter rain. Locals recommend dressing in light layers for outdoor activities year-round.
- Arrive before 9:00 AM for Dungeness Spit parking on summer weekends to secure a spot and avoid long walks from overflow lots. Some hotels may offer shuttle service or bike rentals as alternatives to driving, and ADA parking is available for guests with accessibility needs.
- Plan 2.5-3.5 hours for travel from Seattle to Sequim, depending on your route. The Bainbridge ferry with a drive is often faster at about 2.5-3 hours, but be sure to allow extra time for ferry wait lines. Many national hotels in Sequim provide travel-planning support or offer discounts with partner transportation services; ride-shares or airport shuttles may require pre-booking on peak summer weekends.
- Confirm the water source for rural B&Bs; Sequim municipal water is treated, but some outlying inns use private wells that may affect taste or suit sensitivities. Chain hotels always use municipal water. If you have health concerns or are sensitive to taste, ask in advance about bottled water or filtration options.
- Ask hotels for their measured Wi-Fi speed in Mbps or plan to use a mobile hotspot as backup for remote work, as speeds can vary in rural Sequim. Many chain hotels publish their average Wi-Fi speeds or offer premium internet tiers. You can also inquire about business centers or guest workspaces.
- Request a ground-floor or accessible room when booking at older inns without elevators, as many Sequim properties are two stories without lift access. Mid-range and major chain hotels are more likely to offer elevators and ADA-compliant rooms; early requests increase the chance of availability.
- Ask your hotel about secure bike or wet-gear storage in advance if using the Olympic Discovery Trail, since small properties do not always provide these facilities or may charge a fee. Some hotels partner with trail services or may offer standard bike storage on request; check if advance notice is needed.
- Although card acceptance is standard, confirm per-night pet fees and any weight or room restrictions with your hotel, as most local motels and B&Bs allow pets with a fee. Major brands like Red Lion and Holiday Inn Express typically list pet policies and fees online, and service animals must be accepted by law regardless of general pet policy. Review the latest pet rules online or call ahead to verify details.
