Mt Baker Hotel

Great location, right in Concrete..great ice cream store across. Owners of Concrete theater/ice cream are lovely people. Also new picnic benches put in by town!!! Really cute..didn¿t realize Concrete had this cute, small part of town.

Carpets were fiilthy, kitchen in room with no utensils..a sign that you could borrow utensils, paper plates etc for $25.00¿seemed silly. Also old food on counter by toaster and dirty band aid in bathroom..yuck. Made us wonder how clean anything else was.

Clean; room was spacious; nice bedding.

Office closed at 4 pm, negative signs posted everywhere about mean customers. Weird lockbox process. Lockbox didn't have my key, I had to call and deal with rude, angry office lady who slammed the window after giving my key. Very uncomfortable.

Ample space, located in town.

Staff is not kind or nice.

They cancelled on me on the 4th of July!

I received a call from a woman who matter-of-factly informed me that they can't accomodate me with my confirmed reservation due to the staff shortage. With the "politeness" of this call, I wasn't surprised that their staff ran away.

Location and room was great just have to put up with a rude property manager.

Accused of smoking in room when was not,found a note in room & things moved.Nasty when went 2talk2her. Made the last afternoon & nite miserable 2 be there on anniversary trip.Good luck getting ice, it's locked in office.could go on but can't bc word limit

The room was fantastically spacious. The bed was so comfortable.

It seems like guests in the past may have been unclean and there are lots of warnings about things you can be charged for, like if a towel gets dirt on it.

It's affordability

No extra comforts. No extra pillows or blankets. Bare minimum comforts. Nearby hotel noise.

The space was very large. It was more than I expected.

The carpet was a bit stained, but overall I was pleasantly surprised

Easy to find and not far from North Cascades National Park entrance.

Rooms were incredibly spacious and clean. Staff was super nice and very accommodating.

Location was perfect as we were attending an event across the street for New Years Eve. It was so nice to get ready in my room and then know that I didn't have to drive home. Bed was very comfy and the room was quiet.

Good enough but not great

I don’t think the heater worked in the room. They provided a small portable one and the room was decently cold.

Staff is very friendly and professional. The facilities is nice and spacious. It has everything we need. Location is good for our trip from Seattle to North Cascade to Winthrop.

The carpet is light colored and not ideal unless you want to shampoo it every time someone checks out. It needs a non-carpeted entryway, a good floor mat both inside and outside. The outside mat needs to be cleaned every check-out. I know they are aware of this situation.

This was not a motel room, it was a spacious 2 bedroom apartment with full living room, decent kitchen and a bathroom with a gigantic shower. The room was not fancy, but comfortable, clean and well appointed. We arrived late in the evening and all the lamps were on, which just made it feel ready for us. Coffee and tea kcup along with water bottles and basic toiletries. Stop by the grocery store a few miles away before you arrive or bring your own snacks and supplies to cook. I was blown away and would definitely stay there again.

Clean and simple. The manager (owner?) Brandon went out of his way to make our stay relaxing and comfortable.

Super spacious room with dedicated living space (and a cozy blanket to relax). Bed was comfortable and provided us much needed sleep before our hike. The kitchenette area had coffee maker with k cups. Heather (the property manager) was super communicative throughout our stay.

A bit outdated property that is being renovated under a new management company (it is a very old/historic hotel that has interesting history). I am certain that the property manager will continue to make improvements and retain the positives.

They have made some efforts at updating it. Towels and sheets clean.

Our carpet hadn't been cleaned in some time and was very dirty, particularly by the entrance but pretty much throughout. That was the spoiler for us.

The uniqueness of the room, although too big for the two of us, it was a very nice room. Definitely a must. Cool town and easy to get to some good food.
