Humid musty room load AC and refrigerator

Staff was attentive, energetic and hard working. Breakfast was pretty average. Coffee bar was nice.

Pets allowed everywhere, in ALL rooms. Pets more welcome than people? Bums entering and hanging around in the food area. Sketchy….

Friendly staff.

Grounds were mediocre, lobby decor was drab, cleaning supplies in hallway, walls marked up, elevators dirty and didn't have lastest security measures (no key needed to reach floors), room had no remote window shades, furniture looked old, small bathroom.

Able to control thermostat. Great breakfast. Comfortable bed.

The location was convenient. Offered nice breakfast options. Bed was very comfortable.

I had major issues with the cleanliness of the bathroom. The toilet was disgusting! There were stains all around the outside of the toilet as well as on bathroom walls.

Location to the university

The manager  was very rude to me, my sister, and mother. Hotel employee would not allow us to extend our reservation and was very aggressive and rude regarding this. She denied the extension without reviewing the hotel's policy. Truly poor customer service

Staff communication

The bed blanket was dirty and had yellow spots. A/C unit was broken, had cracks, and was blowing bad smell so we had to turn it off and stay the rest of the night without A/C. The iron was dripping water from the bottom

The staff was amazingly kind and helpful we will definitely stay again they really made the experience great .

There was only pork available during breakfast it would be really great if they could add some options ¿

We have booked this hotel several times and it has always been satisfactory. Very clean and close to the things we need to be close to in Virginia Beach.

I was charge $35 more than the quoted price. I called the hotel someone took my number and was supposed to get back with me and never did. I called the next day the lady said she would handle it but gave me no time frame. The charge is still on there.

Great location. Nice they at least had a bag breakfast. Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly.

This hotel needs new cleaning staff. First room was bad. Bedspreads were all cockeyed. One of the bedspreads was so dirty it looked tan instead of white. Smell was bad in the room. We were moved to another room and it was much cleaner, smelled better.

The manager and hotel employee trying to resolve and address issues that arose.

Hotel employee attitude she was rude and dismissive. Upon trying to check our room was not ready house cleaning was running behind. When we finally got our room we later discovered when we were going to bed that the sheets were dirty.

It was FILTHY!! THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE HOTEL.ROOM WAS GROSS. CHAIR WAS STAINED ALL OVER. BED WAS HARD & EVERY TIME YOU DAT ON IT YOU COULD HEAR THE METAL SKIRTING.DRAPES/SHADES WERE RAGGED/TORN/STAINED. ENTRANCE WAS LOCKED. HAD TO WAIT TO BE BUZZED IN &OUT

Security and the friendliness of the staff

I thought everything was handled very well considering we were Still trying to maintain social distancing the free breakfast was modified to a to go box but handled very well

Clean rooms, breakfast, quiet and peaceful environment feel secure. Maintenance's attitude towards stopped up toilet (no fault of the Guest) leaves something to be desired.

COVID-19 STOPPED BREAKFAST FROM BEING SERVED DURING MY STAY THIS TIME.

Area is under a lot of construction , so somewhat hard to get around.

The yellow chair at the desk is stylish but *not* an ergonomic computer chair. Sitting in it for several hours on my laptop was hard on my body - both spinal alignment and hard on my behind.

Bed was as hard as a rock.

The hotel room was very clean, had everything I needed in the room.

I wish there were more vegetarian options for breakfast. One day the scrambled eggs had meat in them so I didn't have much to eat. When I asked the front desk worker about it, she got an attitude and was not very helpful.
