Staff at the front desk was lovely and made us feel like we were family.

This hotel is pet friendly so we could hear a few dogs barking in the morning.

Hotel employee was excellent ! I called about 1 hr before checkin, He answered all questions and at checkin was perfect! hotel employee was best hotel front desk agent in my 50 years of travel ! Thank You Sir !

The rooms were nice and the bed was super comfy.

Breakfast could have been a little better. There was no syrup for French toast or waffles. Overall, it was passable.

The location is close to the friends we are visiting.

The room wasn't as clean as it should have been. There was trash on the floor under the bedspread (up against the base of the bed). Also, there was hair stuck to the bath towels.

The location and friendly service were great.

The first room that I was assigned was in disrepair. However, I was promptly given a new room without hesitation and the staff inspected the new room before changing me.

The staff, rooms were clean, and the bed & pillows were very comfortable.

Rooms were small & no lock on bathroom doors (in the room, it's just a sliding barn door).

Price is reasonable for this area of Virginia - unlike other very overpriced hotels

Due to the COVID 19 they had boxed breakfast that contained whole boiled eggs that tasted like it was pickled. Wasn't keen on that :-(. Just stay with the plain flavor of a boiled egg w/ salt and pepper.

Clean rooms and public areas, variety of breakfast offerings, plenty of parking, nearby stores, pharmacies, etc. some within walking distance.

 the front desk could not have been more helpful in getting us checked in and making sure we had what we needed.

Noise levels. It sounded like we had an elephant in the room above us. Floors in entryway and bathroom were very sticky

Excellent and very friendly staff, very clean and comfortable experience and a great breakfast!! My mom & I felt like royalty!

Upon checking, greeted with enthusiasm and warmth! She set the tone for our stay!! Everyone on staff was warm, helpful, friendly and courteous.We were in Suffolk for a funeral and rented the conference room for the repast also perfect!!

Housekeeping missed dirty towels and leaving clean towels. Very noisy. Pool closed when I wanted to use it.

Nothing at all...we loved it.

As soon as we walked in we were welcomed with a friendly person at the counter, I wish I could remember her name. There was hot coffee and fresh cookies at counter after a long drive was very refreshing. Went to room and smelled and looked very clean.

The only thing was the breakfast eggs and the sausage was a little cold wish it was hotter. But over all was great.

It was off the freeway with quick access to most places, the staff was great, friendly and remembered me by name. The rooms were clear and the staff was always ready to help. Please let them know I appreciate all the work for me.

It didn't have room service but great breakfast each morning. Maybe consider having menus in the room for delivery or set up delivery service from local restaurants close by. But this was no problem for me just a suggestion.

The accommodations were very nice. But, especially, I enjoyed the breakfast. It was so nice knowing that there were excellent selections at breakfast that allowed me to stay on my diet plan, like skim milk, fresh fruit, multiple cereal and egg selections.

We did find that it was a little difficult using the room key to open the door, which must be fire proof as it was quite heavy, even for my husband to open.

The hotel was clean and the bathroom in our room was particularly nice. The staff was very polite.

My wife and I both had an allergic reaction to the bed sheets. We both broke out in itchy red rashes. The hot breakfast was lukewarm and the "scrambled" eggs appeared to have been baked on a cookie sheet and cut into squares like Jello cubes.

Both the hotel in general and the room in particular are tired and in need of a deep clean or renovation
