Decoys

The villas were tucked away in a subdivision but it was still quite cozy and quiet. The inside of the villas were very clean. Check-in was through the restaurant, but it was fairly easy and staff was nice. We were not familiar with the area but there were places nearby to eat and shop.

When I step onto the balcony, there were a lot of cobwebs. We didn't spend much time on the balcony but I wished those had been swept away. Also, we reserved 3 villas and one of the villas did not have heat. Someone came to check it out but was unable to fix it. We were graciously refunded the money for that unit so we were thankful for that.

It was clean,

High steps to entrance, no railing to help up. Lighting was terrible. I like to read or crochet while watching TV. We had trouble getting code to room to work more than once. Maids woke us up first morning, to see if we needed anything. Second morning they were here before check out time;they tried to open door to see anyone was there. Would never stay there again. We have stayed all over the United States but this is one place we would not stay in again.

The staff.

Not private. No hot tub. (mentioned in photos) poor parking. Extremely over priced.

I loved the location

The bathroom shower was not freshly cleaned. They did not have a ADA shower chair for me to use in the room. I let them know that I was disabled when asked about an ADA accessible space. And even though there were only twoSteps up to the landing and twoSteps to get to the door. I would have expected that they were on guard about that and made sure to have the shower chair or at least ask if I needed any other special accommodations .the bed is wasReally high for aShort person to get in and out of much less that someone with a disability. It would have been helpful to have a collapsible stepStool available in the room to use. The mattress had dips in it and needs to be updated. The parking for the cottages is tricky and tight for those with large SUVs .

We loved being right by the water. It was very calm. We loved the restaurant we could walk to and the bed was very comfortable.

The heater wasn't working properly so you have to leave it on at all times to get the room warm. When it was on at all it has a very bright light that fills the room with light at night. Bring something to cover that light at night like a piece of paper and tape if you plan to stay here.

The views were amazing. The cottage was so incredibly comfortable and inviting. The beds and pillows were so comfortable and high quality. The bathroom and shower was nicer than my own. We wish we could have stayed for a week or more. Please enjoy many cups of coffee on the deck.

The only minor issue we found was the cottage could have used a thorough dusting.

Beautiful unit! Great bed, nice furniture, very clean, nice big bathroom with two sinks and nice big shower with two shower heads. Very nice terrace view.

Greenery is too high near approaching the entry; there is not enough lighting.

Decoys deserve more than 5 stars ? The location was near to my conference only 10 min away Everything is clean Nice and quiet place The bed is comfortable Many thanks to the lady in front desk “ sorry to forget her name “ she was very helpful and respectful

The unit was absolutely perfect. The views were magical, the atmosphere was fun, exciting, and relaxing, and the restaurant/food was delicious. We will definitely come back.

There was not one thing that we did not like about our stay. I highly recommend Decoys!
