TownePlace Suites by Marriott Springfield

It checks the box for a suite hotel with a hot shower, clean room and breakfast.

It is worn. About time for a refurb. But it is acceptable.

The price

Excessive smoking concerns and rude and racially motivated employee.

Location

Room size is very small. Breakfast area is also too small, it is really hard to get chairs to sit and have breakfast.

The kitchen availability

I was lied to at the time of reservation staying there was an indoor and outdoor pool which was 2nd requirement for the hotel. The toilet is room was lopsided, pictures online of the facility was a bit smaller then was pics online.

Friendly, helpful staff, clean room, comfortable beds

I really liked the close proximity of the hotel to all the places that we?re supposed to go. the evening person who checked us in was so friendly and professional. Overall, the staff are all nice.

Location

No free parking. Wifi not free

The employees was great housekeeping, maintenance front desk everyone smiling and speaking

as soon as we walked into the room because the TV was not working and a lamp was not working. Also, somebody had taken crayo. The second day we were there we went to hersheys. While we were gone, somebody went through our luggage and took some things.

Have stayed here many times now when visiting family. Great location near restaurants, groceries and shopping. Very safe. Room is great with full kitchen. Bed very comfortable. Coffee and fruit water 24/7 is very convenient.

Slight smell of pot in our room upon arrival possibly coming through bathroom vent. Got worse over weekend with heavy smell in hallway of our floor. Complained late that night when returned to hotel. Next day got better when people checked out.

Have stayed here many times now. Rooms are comfortable and quiet. Free coffee all day is great.

Bathroom in the two bedroom apartment was too small. Counter space can only accommodate one person at a time and very limited place on counter for toiletries.

Location was very convenient. Even though it was located in a very busy area, it was situated in such a way that it felt private.

It was an amazing experience overall ! The manager was so sweet & accommodating for my girlfriend¿s birthday & the room was so clean & modern. Will definitely be back!

This hotel is very clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and welcoming.

The breakfast was a nice hot breakfast with a decent amount of options. However, it was located in such a small area that it was hard to get what you wanted and to find a seat. It was a little frustrating.

Location in proximity to Arlington National Cemetery.

Wrong room. Booked 2 Queen w/pull out couch, for one adult and 3 children. Given tiny 1 Queen w pull out couch. No room to move or breathe. Shower floor covered in previous guests pubic hairs. Bed had spots on fitted sheets and everything messy.

This is just like my home. It has complete kitchen equipped with cooking utensils, standing refrigerator ,microwave, toaster, coffee pot, etc. Laundry room , breakfast room where breakfast served every morning. Super Grocery shops and restaurants nearby .

There is no storage room for checked out bags.

I DIDNT LIKE THE HOTEL AT ALL

SOME OF THE STAFF WAS HORRIBLE COULD NOT USE THE POOL HAD TO KEEP ASKING FOR TOWELS HAD TO KEEP WAITING 2 AND 3 HOURS FOR TOWELS AND WE HAD TO KEEP COMPLAINING ABOUT THE DRUG SMELL IN THE HOTEL PEOPLE WAS WAS DOING TRANSACTION IN THE STAIR CASES.

I like the location, beautifully decorated settings, full-size kitchen with a range, dishwasher and cooking utensils, microwave, toaster, and a standard sized refrigerator. I love the free breakfast in the morning with variety choices. Security excellent.

Storage facility.

Location is within 20 minutes of tourist sites in Washington DC. The staff in the breakfast area were attentive and friendly. Hot tea and coffee available in the lobby all day.

Bathroom fixtures were dirty and paint in the shower area was in need of attention. The hotel is in need of renovation- unpleasant smells in the hallway, perhaps coming from the carpet.

Clean and quiet. Check in was easy. Appreciate you allowing pets.

The bed was way too soft. Other than that it was fine.
