Quality Inn Salem - I-81

Comfortable mattress and pillows, very clean rooms.

I specifically booked this hotel because of the amazing hot breakfast I had here before. They have removed the protein from breakfast selection, no bacon and no sausage links. We will not be staying here again when passing through. Huge disappointment.

Location - right off of the highway.

A little noisy because of the cars being parked so close to the rooms.

Right off the interstate. Restaurants close by. The server at the restaurant we went to said Salem is a fancy truck stop -- restaurants, hotels, and gas stations.

Some folks may not like room doors that open to the outside. For us, it was good.

Bathroom recently updated and room was clean

Everything was clean and tidy

Major wear and tear on bathtub made it look dirty. Off putting to look at but once inspected I was able to see it was clean.

Room was clean and comfortable with no major complaints.

The tub was slow to drain. The lighting fixtures all had yellowed shades which made the room less cheerful. Some pet damage. A parking lot view out the windows. The free breakfast had very limited options. Key took many tries to work.

The gentleman working the front desk that night was exceptionally nice. Gave me some excellent recommendations for dinner. Very friendly and social.

My hotel stay was excellent. It did truly exceed my expectations for comfort and very quiet. The location was excellent!

Staff were very very nice. Very clean room. TV worked perfect. We just had such a nice relaxing experience. Allowed us to have a late check out at noon because my husband had some appointments at the VA center in Salem. We appreciated that very much.

It¿s pet friendly, the staff were very friendly, and the proximity to the Interstate made for minimal interruption to my road trip.

It was very basic, which is to be expected for the star rating and price, I suppose. The room was clean but run down.

The entire building had an overwhelming odor,a super strong freshener to coverup some underlying scent. Extremely offensive to someone who has asmatha. Dirt on bedspread. Cannot stay in a hotel with these conditions.

Hotel is right off the interstate and close to lots of shopping and restaurants.

They hotel could use some refreshing as the bathtub was in ruff shape and there was a faint stale-like smell to the room.

The front desk team was fantastic! Smiling and friendly!
