Holiday Inn Express And Suites Harrisonburg University Area By IHG

Comfy bed

Nonsmoking room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. Advertised swimming pool was non operational our entire 3-day stay.

Breakfast bar. Employee who runs the breakfast area is very attentive.

Front desk staff told us our room wasn't ready and that she would call us when it was. She never called and made up an excuse that she "tried to call but something didn't work". She told us it would be ready around 4 even though check in time is 3. Weird.

location and breakfast and cleanliness

Great location. Clean & comfortable room. Pool available.

The hotel room, pool area and workout room were all clean and appealing. The breakfast bar and eating area was also clean. Highly recommend the hotel.

location to both eating places and interstate

The aircon could not be turned off with out having to get the front desk to come up and pull the cover off and disconect the power the result was that i could not switch it back on

Very clean hotel with comfortable bed, professional staff, Excellent complimentary breakfast and near alot of Restaurants and stores

Comfortable room and good breakfast. Great location off I-95

Air conditioning needed a boost. Lots of humidity in the room.

Clean, quiet, location, breakfast, good restaurants close by

warm room, good breakfast

hallways and dining area were freezing cold. the pool wasnt very warm, and their dang check out was at 10 am, too early

location clean and great eating places close by

Courteous staff, clean room that had a good size TV, cold AC, comfortable room and a nice breakfast in the morning.

None that I could mention.

The hotel was booked as a "pet friendly" but it was not. Upon arriving at the hotel with my dog, I was asked if he was a service dog and when I replied no, I was told by the person at the desk that we wouldn't be able to stay there. We slept in the car

Cheese omelets and one minute pancake machine at breakfast! Touch pad door entry is nice

All fine

Tidy room

Front desk was extremely rude to me and my service animal. Clerk went out of her way to embarrass me in front of other guests by making me provide documentation. This practice is illegal btw. Felt very unwelcomed and uncomfortable. Please train staff!

Nice clean and quiet

The breakfast was not what Holiday Inn Express is known for. I stayed from Thursday through Monday and the maid was only in the room Sunday.

Very clean and nicely furnished Breakfast had many healthy options

Excellent front desk staff; great breakfast , clean more than expected; Highly recommend

You get what you pay for. It is a holiday inn do not expect the Ritz! It is close to restaurants and plazas. It is also close to the Horizon basketball courts. They provide the standard breakfast which consist of eggs, sausage, bacon, ceral etc.

My only issues with the hotel is the bathroom floor hasn't been mopped in ages and the tub had a ring around it. Dirt stains on the bathroom floor is a big no no!

Swimming pool was nice and the location worked great for us, only 20 min away from Massanutten.

You can tell the hotel must be a new construction and rooms are new, but ours wasn¿t cleaned very well. We found dust and little pieces of garbage on the carpet. Clearly housekeeping is doing a quick wipe down between guests.
