OYO Hotel Economy Inn US-29 Danville

I book the hotel for my granddaughter who needed a place to stay because of a crisis. The room was infested with roaches and bed bugs. She had to check out 3 days before her due date. The hotel was already paid in full. No refund was given.

After searching for handicap accessible, this room, certainly was NOT accessible for me. Between the parking lot curb, and the very high threshold step, every entrance and exit was a life risking adventure, using two canes in my hands, gripping the door

Booked for a quick casino trip two nights. This place was disgusting. The room looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years, roaches, nasty stains on towels, I'm pretty sure the sheets were dirty and not changed in a long time as well.

Unclean. Shower was unusable, someones dirty soap bars left, looks like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks, dirty towels. Deadbolt didn't work, cobwebs, flies. Beds uncomfortable, sheets were dirty or stained.

I started looking around and realized they were scurrying across the walls and coming out from behind the headboard.To make matters worse, the fridge was completely broken and warm. When I opened it to see if it just needed to be plugged in, more roaches ran out from the motor area in the back. It was an absolute infestation.The Service (or Lack Thereof)I immediately went to the front desk to show them the photos and requested a full refund so I could find a habitable place to sleep. The staff was incredibly dismissive. They told me that because I had already "checked in and used the room," they refused to issue a refund.They offered to move me to another room, but given the state of the building, I wasn’t willing to gamble on another infested unit. Despite my protests and the clear health violations, the manager was firm: no refunds.Final VerdictI ended up leaving the keys on the counter and walking out. I didn't stay a single night, yet I was still charged the full amount. This place is a health hazard and the management is dishonest. Save your money and your sanity—stay anywhere else.

It was dirty. People actually live there, so the room above was VERY loud. Very overpriced for the status of the room. Now if a $35 a night motel.

Everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.

It's a older building with some wear and tear. You must have a Amazon subscription to watch TV.

It was a little hard to find but that was more of google maps then the property.

Very convenient location. Friendly staff when checking in. Dropped our bags in the room and left. We got back from a concert around midnight. Went in the room, slept and left the next morning. Everything was great from check in to check out. The beds and bedding were new, bedding was clean and comfortable. The room was clean, the air conditioner was cold, fridge and microwave worked. I would stay here again. Good room for the price.

It is an older building. You can see its age. You can tell they’re trying to make it look better, while working with what they have.

We may have rented the room but we left . did not sleep there..how could with the smell inside the room. Even though it was a SMOKING ROOM..the smell was a strong stich smell of death... NOPE?!! ! NOT!!!! BYE-BYE/ OUT!!!!!!
