Quality Inn Christiansburg - Blacksburg

Front desk person was polite and helpful

There were flies in the room and bathroom exhaust fan was not working. When checked, we were told none of room exhaust fan is working. There were some used towels in room. We got new towels from front desk.

There was no lit sign telling anyone "Here is the Quality Inn". The hotels on either side had signs for their respective branding but there was no lit sign for this Quality Inn. I drove around it twice before I finally went inside to ask if this was it.

The rooms were not cleaned properly. The bedspreads (both) had stains on them. It did not feel safe as the empty rooms all had the doors open throughout the night. They are having some sort of cleanliness issues and should not have rented rooms.

The cook and the breakfast

The room was a total disaster. It was smoked in (none smoking room) the bed was a double not a king, the smoke alarm was covered with a plastic bag, and the soaps were half used.

Convenient location.

Multiple extension cords were linked to run the heater and the refrigerator. That was a fire hazard and also made the room look quite dumpy.

Under supposedly construction. Rooms were subpar? Breakfast tasted reheated? Room not thoroughly cleaned?

Very polite staff

There was construction going on which prevented us from getting the continental breakfast the website promised.

The staff here are seriously the sweetest folks. It?s clean just dated. I?d stay again! Safe.

It was fine just a few odd strains on the wall. Very dated. They are renovating so I?m sure it will be nicely updated soon.

Convenience

The TV did not work and the front desk told us this ahead of time. We just thought it might get fixed while we were there, but it wasn?t due to the storms in the area.

The breakfast

The carpet in the room was dirty. The bottom of my white socks were black

1. There was no large signs to go near the parking close to your room. It was hard to see the numbers on room doors from driving around. Please put some general direction boards to help folks licate the parking close to their room while driving.

Very convenient location. Room was clean and had everything I needed.

Room was not clean and furniture scarred up. Was feces on the wall in the bathroom.

Could hear highwsy traffic in room. Had to wait 20 minutes to get checked in, desk clerk was helping someone. Should have another person there to check people in.
