City Express by Marriott Chantilly Dulles Airport

First room was hot, dirty and the room looked like it was falling apart. The wallpaper has multiple tears in it, doors struggled to open and the tile in the bathroom was not even to the point where it would hurt to walk on . Carpets looked very dirty

The pool/gym was so poorly maintained. I picked this hotel for the indoor pool specially and my daughter was grossed out with all the bugs in it. The room had leftover trash from previous person, the bed had a gross black booger looking thing on it.

That it was next door to a 7-11.

The airport shuttle hours and availability were not clearly communicated. Both beds in my room sagged so badly, I had to sleep in the middle of the bed to keep from rolling out of it. The bathtub was rusty and water barely came out of the showerhead.

Hotel receptionist was very friendly.

Very outdated, popcorn ceiling, tub was broken and taped, stains on curtains and sofa, hotel description and pictures on site isn't true and photo modified.

The room we had was in need of updating. Areas previously repaired with no attempt to hide or blend the repair with the rest of the wall gave it a run down appearance.

Very noisy even after midnight-a woman yelling for hours in one of the nearby rooms. I kept a bad cough while there, which cleared up after I left. Maybe due to filter in A/C? Man smoking outside the front door had to walk through smoke to go inside.

Breakfast was great.

I can tell the hotel is in the middle of updating furniture. There seemed to be mold on my curtains and the wallpaper was peeling everywhere. The pool was ice cold even thought the sign said 82 degrees.

The computers was down and had to wait for them to come back up to check in. My room the TV didn't work. The ice machen didn't work on my floor. Had to go to another floor to get ice.

The water was cut off the majority of the time with no explanation available, but was off upon arrival. Huge issue. Guests were not notified, no time for a fix was provided, and no alternative solution was suggested. No water=no ice, but machines broke

Only that the bathroom sink leaked when I ran water. Each morning I found a puddle of water after brushing my teeth

Just that the waffle batter was so thin the waffles did really puff up the way it should

The driver, Tony, went out of his way to take me to the air/space museum. It was very generous of him. The staff was friendly. Also, there is a great coffee shoppe next door.

The air conditioning did not work well.

We were allowed an early check in since we were in town early and needed to prep For a wedding Large bathroom was a plus
