Hampton Inn Van Horn

Unsafe the outside doors did not lock anyone can walk into the Hotel. The door to the stairs from the outside wouldn’t close all the way neither again anyone could walk into. My room was right next to this.

Was charged double, staff didn’t appear well trained, breakfast options very limited

Had stayed there before. Liked the hotel and location to interstate

NO WATER!!!! Not a drop!!! Couldn?t shower, brush teeth or use bathroom! Should have a full refund!!

Nothing my room was broken into when I was sleeping, something is going on at that hotel they had a tool that opened the secondary lock and entered my room I woke up and they took off it was a man and a woman I called the police

Clean, quiet, comfortable accommodations. Staff checked us in and really went well above and beyond to get us a ground floor room. The elevator was out of commission and we would not have been able to carry everything to an upper floor.

Nothing to hang our clothes, there was nothing to place our suitcases on. The pool and hot tub were not usable which is why we chose the hotel. I would not stay there again. For a basic no frills room, we could have spent a lot less.

Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The room was great. We had a great stay and plan to stay here again if we are in the area. VERY much appreciated that they had parking for those pulling trailers, etc as well.

The toilet did not work...and they didn't have anymore rooms....They did even offer a discount for the inconvenience

Bad smell to the room. Only one left with 2 beds had to deal with the bad smell

As always, the bed was comfortable and the bedding thick and comforting. This is one of the reasons we like to stay at Hampton Inn. The breakfast was large with many choices, and the dining space was ample.

Our room was very small, and we were not able to get a king bed. Our vanity light was burned out, and the maintenance person had already left for the day. The front desk person compensated us for this with an Applebees card, bottled water and cookies.

Location

Many repairs needed in this room. Holes in wall, mold in shower, loose wallpaper(who still has wallpaper these days?), curtain falling off the rod. The whole place needs a renovation.

2nd time to stay here. Clean and well kept. Will stay again if in the area. Also had my dog along

I could see their commitment to safety and cleanliness. I liked the sealed stickers on the doors. All of the staff that we came in contact with were friendly and helpful.

Very clean, nice room. The breakfast was much better than "continental". Very nice, very clean.

The only complaint is hearing water noise from other rooms was loud.

Not the hotel staffs fault, but the two people next to my room were beyond loud. Used the ear plugs and pillow to knock down some of their overly loud rudeness.
