Hampton Inn Uvalde

Having to pay to park at the hotel you are staying at is ridiculous. Found hair in the tub. And the receptionist had and attitude when I asked why I had to pay for parking.

They charged a $5 parking fee.

Check-in was great.

We we were getting ready for a wedding when cleaning crew arrived. As we were leaving I asked front desk to have housekeeping do our room. When we returned, room had not been cleaned.¿¿

The room was not clean had dirty cups filled with drinks in room did advice front desk once we checked in

It was next to a clothing shop.

The front light was out and the mini fridge did not cool. I noticed that it wasn't plugged in and it was in a tight spot for me to do it.

For the price, it would have been nice to get a HOT breakfast, with protein, instead of only carbs.

Toilet full feces unable to flush as we went in refrigerator was filled open milks not covid safe... staff calls their guest liars

The llocation was great.

The elevators were broken at the time of check in. The stairwell doors were locked from the outside so if you needed in the stairwell you had to find maintenance man to let you in. The rooms were disgusting, hair in the bathroom, hair in the sheets. GROSS

Ease in locating.

Breakfast in a brown paper bag, and then they ran out of bottled water? Come on! Go get more at Walmart!!

Ac was broke in a room. We had a king non smoking. So they moved us to a double queen because they said no other kings were available. The front desk lady was rude and wasn’t not wearing a mask.. so we got no compensation for the inconvenience

This hotel is close to everything. The room was clean and the staff was nice. We stayed here two nights and spent the days at Garner State Park, which was about 25 minutes away. There are plenty of restaurants open during the pandemic.

Because of pandemic, breakfast was one bottled water, a banana and a wrapped blueberry muffin. I was hoping for a hot breakfast, like an egg and bacon sandwich, etc. Otherwise, everything else was great.

Very friendly staff. Hotel was very nice and clean.

Called from my room to ask if I could check out over the phone. Lady working the front desk replied yeah you can. Why?.. lol

Clean, friendly, and in a safe location. I would recommend this hotel to travelers.

Comforter w/duvet was warm and cozy! Great Breakfast!

Hampton charged my card with $50 incident fee. Left the room in very good condition with no incidents. Informed me charge would be removed 2-3 business days but is still on there. Will recheck in 24 hrs

Friendliness of staff and location

Pool was closed entire weekend.

The breakfast was excellent with lots of selection. The staff was super friendly. My daughter was feeling a little car sick when we got there.The lady at the front desk went out of her way to look for some honey so that she could have a cup of tea.

No not really after a very long drive that day it was well worth the money we spent to stay the night. I'm glad we did.

pillows were TOO hard

It was modern and clean. It had a nice exercise room, but some of the equipment didn't work properly.

1) Hard water with shower head now working properly. 2) Uncomfortable pillows, blanket and bed 3) Hard to control room temperature 4) Noisy air conditioner 5) Could not make cellular calls within the building 6) Frustrating internet log-ons
