Hampton Inn & Suites Dallas-The Colony

The door mechanism was broken. 3 times we had to have staff use a tool to get under the door to open it. We had to wait 3 times to get into our room; twice it was after a late night having fun and then having to sit in the hallway and wait. Unacceptable.

Quiet and good location.

Some items felt outdated. There was no vent in the bathroom.

I like that I can count on a Hampton Inn & Suites to be clean, nice, well run with a good breakfast all on a repeat basis.

The roll up blind in our room was broken and made our room very dark. The front door is extremely close to the front desk, so when I was standing in line to check in, people arriving through the front door would almost bang into me.

Clean and inviting atmosphere.

Bathroom sink installation did not have proper support and was drooping and not ascetically pleasing. Pet policy needs reviewing so the staff feels they can take care of problems. A dog barked in a neighboring room from 3 pm till the owners arrived at 10.

Booked a king room but was given two queen, then staff sold the king room to someone else.

Location Couch was good

Bed was not comfortable. Another chair for the desk would be nice.

The breakfast and closeness to nebraska furniture

The room was the wrong one i picked a non handicap room and the bed was extremely uncomfortable.

It was a great location. Front desk staff was super friendly. It has an indoor pool though we didn¿t use it. The fitness center was really nice. Kids loved the free breakfast and the red velvet Texas shaped waffles.

Our room smelled like sweat. The air turned to heat if the temp changed and then when it turned off it smelled like smoke.

Clean, good, hot breakfast. Friendly staff who were able to answer all our questions.

Hotel staf far above anything we expected.

The management has chooses to only have one person on staff in the evening .we had an issue with the air conditioning going to 65 and being stuck but there was no engineer to fix it. The managers voice mail was full. Room needs attention ¿

LOCATION WAS PERFECT

THE STAFF WAS RUDE LIKE IF I WAS GETTING THE ROOM FOR FREE AND THE BATHROOM WAS DIRTY FOUND STAINS IN THE SHOWER AND HAIR ON THE TOWELS

The hotel is beautiful, clean, location is perfect, staff is nice, breakfast is good.

Location. Next to wonderful restuarants, shopping, movies and easy access to freeway. Pet friendly areas and easy to get in and out of hotel from entry and exit ways.

No microwave.

Bed was awful. They need to tighten up the bathroom fixtures and work on the AC and also need to install vending machines. $3 for a soda is just flat out greedy

Exceptional location around so many places within walking distance. Clean facility, great food for breakfast.

The pool water may need Ph testing or something else as it was not a pleasant color or smell

Met all of our expectations. The reviews did not lie. Staff was great and the room was clean and very comfortable. Location was perfect to feel so close to everything.

Clean rooms and great staff!

We had issues with our room key not working at the entry doors and to our rooms. We had to replace them 4 times during our one nights stay.

Clean and new. Lots of outlets and USB ports, fridge in room, comfy beds.

Hotel was very nice.

1 of the desk staff, female with an accent, was rude on the phone with me. Made a comment under her breath which I was able to hear, but barely. Then to my daughter who was staying there. Had a hard time finding her reservation even though she kept showin
