Economy Lodge by Hotel O Texas City

Iwas surprised whare it was located! Right in the heart of Texas oil country. Small but very comfortable.It even had a range! Refrigeratirm TV, Everything you need. The staff were great. It looked like the owner and his family.

Could have used a comforter on the bed.Everything worked as it should. I would stay there again.

Well when I got there they did not take my card after I paid for it online. I wasn't able to check in because I didn't have the card on hand with me I had my phone with the card on it.

Nothing. Rooms were dirty with roaches. Cleaning lady was still cleaning after check in time. She used rags in one room then carried them outside of next room placed on the floor then carried into next room and cleaned my second room with the same rags.

hotel descriptions were lies. No spa tubs and no fireplaces. Worst hotel experience ever.

We stopped here on our way to Galveston Island and it worked out perfectly. Quick check-in and plenty of parking.

It was convenient location for crabbing.

The hotel room was disgusting. The bed spread had holes in it there were roaches crawling everywhere and the shower was very dirty.

Horrible part of town, room was tiny and very outdated. I will not stay here again. Roaches in the bathroom.

The only thing out of this nasty disgusting motel was we were only staying there for a short time to get up in the morning to get to our boat in Galveston other than that I cannot say nothing good do not stay here whatsoever.

OMG .. where do I start. footprints all over the floor so I had to get a towel and by the time I went through the main walking areas the towel was black I'm talking black We found a razor blade where the toilet roll should have been that my 3-year-old grandson found hair in the tub and when I mean hair lots of hair beds were semi-comfortable the location because we were getting on a cruise was okay but when I complained or said something they just acted like I'm so sorry but not sorry we're not going to move you to another room or compensate us. I would never recommend this motel and I'm ashamed of booking.com for even having these people on their list for places to stay. Oh and let's not forget the toilet piss that was all around the base of the toilet.

Nice rooms, at least this one had fridge, microwave, dont goto 7404 avenue j motel 6. coffee pot. Only thing that didn't work was to take a bath the thing you pull up or down to take shower or a bath didn't work, so had to take a shower only, and had small roaches in the room, all around the rubber part of the inside fridge and under microwave. Other than that it was good, and at a decent price.

The cleanliness of the room the bed was hard first room I was sent to was dirty and they forgot to make the bed

Clerk canceled my reservation without my approval so there was no room when I arrived because I complained that the description had wifi and the property did not.Highly unprofessional and petty.This during a hurricane crisis.

The first room the air conditioning or refrigerator didn't work so they moved us to another room. It was so hot in the room ky husband had to go to the car and get his work fan.

I liked that it was close to the dike
