Hampton Inn & Suites San Marcos

Service was excellent

Bathroom sink was stand alone and no sink countertop. Little mirror ledge for toiletries. Absolutely not enough space for guests.

Close to a lot of restaurants.

Breakfast wasn’t much. Powdered eggs and I don’t know what that bacon was wasn’t pork.

Lights weren¿t working in bathroom. Smelled old and outdated. Bugs were in the room

The breakfast. Housekeeping did a good job.

Worn and stained tub. Dirty Elevator. It was not a good value for the price considering the worn out conditions.

When check in they gave me a room with the most Filthiest bathtub I have ever encountered. Looks like is was filthy animals washed in it. I went to the front desk to change my room and they gave me another room with another Disgusting bathtub. NEVER AGAIN

When cleaning the bathroom, the staff needs to sit on the toilet, this will help them see all the places that need to be cleaned. Cleaning door facings is needed. bigger trash cans would be welcomed, takeout food does not fit in the tiny trash can.

Staff was very courteous and friendly. The hotel smelled clean, no over powering g of scents to set off my allergies. It was a nice and quiet stay.

The beds could have been more comfortable.

The rooms weren't that clean. The hallway smelled like feet and paint. Also we were told we would get connected rooms and we did not!

The rooms were large, but not well lit. The breakfast was good. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

I was given room 318. It had a large number of bugs on the walls, along the ceiling. They moved me to room 310. That room did have a couple of the same bugs, but they were dead.

Huge room designed for a handicapped person. Shower head was broken, and getting it to aim The water correctly was impossible. Power operated shades were great once we figured Out how to work them...No instructions.

Very difficult to access the parking lot. Automatic weapons Closers on doors were very loud and woke us Often.

Bath drained VERY poorly, cobwebs throughout room along the ceiling

What I liked best was a great wealth and when I checked in.

First and only time I wanted to sleep late and hung my do not disturb sign. I guess the staff thought it would be cute to continually slam doors and give me an unwanted wake up call.

Good breakfast, comfortable beds, great location.

Not really hotel's fault but 2 rooms reserved several months ago not beside each other and put name of reservation under one name but when we got there we had to use 2 different cards because of different names on rooms and receipt said already charged?
