Americas Best Value Inn & Suites San Benito

Location

First thing we saw in the bathroom was a huge roach! Floors were very dusty and dirty. Bedding was old and didn't look clean, sofa and seat looked very dirty. The shower seat was very slippery when it was wet and not very handicapped accessible.

The bathroom walls were not cleaned and was soap still left there from previous. The floors were not mopped was dirty still. The bed sheets were the same for the 2 days we was there. I only know that because the same dirty spot was on there.

It was near everything I needed to do

The room was not clean the bedspread and sheets didn¿t look clean door latch broken little roaches but I guess for the price and that was high for this room I have booked other rooms for cheaper and are better

There was quite literally nothing to like. If I were to really be forced to say something, it would be that my car was not stolen from the parking lot no one broke in the room while I was there

Absolutely Nothing, was very dissatisfied and disappointed. This place should be classified as zero stars. Not good at all.

Good location and easy access to highway and food

The bed sheets were all dirty. Place still looked under construction, paint needed everywhere, and plugs not put in all the way.

Rooms was actually big

WiFi didn't work and the room had a interesting smell. Looks as if people don't really stay there. Didn't like it at all.

Not real clean and loud seedy guests at all hours of night making noise

The location is central and the traffic is minimal in the area.

The air conditioning unit was unable to cool the room. It was barely cool enough to sleep. The room had not been vacuumed. The rest was clean (I didn't perform a thorough inspection). Not a 2.5 star

You get what you pay for. Beds were comfortable, adequate parking. The location is somewhat hidden but I wanted to be in San Benito and not have to drive to Harlingen.

While this is a 2 star hotel, it is not an excuse for lack of cleanliness & good ol' fashion customer service. We were assigned two dirty rooms, beds not made, dirty towels. Then the guy tries to pin the dirty rooms on us. He was rude and defensive.
