SpringHill Suites by Marriott San Antonio Airport

The hotel is in need of upgrades. One elevator was out of service. Several ceiling tiles on first floor were damaged or missing. Generally speaking the location looks rundown and in need of upgrades. Not what I would call a 3 star property.

Breakfast was ready a bit earlier than scheduled, which was great due to our early morning schedule.

When I wanted to ask about a late checkout, nobody was at the desk. Even though a male staff saw me form a back room, he kept talking to someone else and did not come to the desk. When I wanted to check out, again, nobody was at the desk! I just left.

We asked for the room to be clean and new towels. We were there for 4 days and got service one time. Also the washmachine keep on breaking. They did fix it tho. But cost me 2x as much because I had to re do it 2x.

Good breakfast.

The doors for the bathrooms were glass and when anyone got up at night to go use the restroom, it woke everyone up. I wish the breakfast was earlier. There were no extra blankets.

This was the 2nd time to stay in this particular Springhill. We like the room layout and the pullout couch when traveling with children.

The room was not as clean as previous stays. There was no soap, body wash or bedding for the pullout provided. When I asked the front desk they said they would send some up and never did.

Not much to like. Closer to 2 star nowhere near a 3 star. I regret paying the amount that I did. Quite dissatisfied.

The breakfast was meager and poorly stocked. The room wasn¿t cleaned at all. 1 towel in the room upon arrival and the coffee and condiments package was open so the room wasn¿t properly prepared. Poorly managed hotel- it is nowhere near a 3 star hotel.

The room was spacious and clean, and the fitness center was well equipped.

I thought the breakfast was a little below average.

The pool was not available. Lacked professional cleaning. Stains on carpet through property including the room. Broken bathroom handles. AC making loud noise when in use. Musky and stinky throughout.

Windows not soundproof, old carpet, old furniture ,hallway smells awful like mildew, very poor lit hallways, room lighting is dim, no daily housekeeping, pool out of service, workout room out of service, 1 elevator out of service 1 elevator work

The front desk guy Rick was really nice.

There was hair in the bathtub when we checked in but that¿s literally the only thing

the staff was very professional.

The room was not very clean, the toilet was moving a lot, the toilet door did not close or locked, the room smelled weird like mold from the AC unit, the light in the restroom was very bad!

Location good if near airport we came into the opposite side of town so a bit of a drive

Location was good near to sightseeing areas.

The food was too average; It was not the hot breakfast as mentioned - just cereal, bread and most of the time empty and there were many people waiting with plates hoping they will refill but the staff just didnt even bother.

Great location! Rooms were spacious clean and beautiful. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. There was plenty to pick from which was perfect for a family with one picky child! (She found something even she liked)

I¿m trying- but there¿s not many positives. Just don¿t do it. Book somewhere else.

It was dirty. Our room had dirty sheets. Sheets were covered in hair. Bathroom was not cleaned. We were moved to another room. It was clean-ish. Trundle bed had stains, a birthday candle, smooshed in cake crumbs (I hope that¿s what it was) and more hair.

Very clean, staff is great. Convenient to airport. Really good breakfast options. Parking was good, common areas were casual and there¿s a small grill area easy to get to.

It¿s a dated Marriott, good bones, but needs an update asap. Beds needed replacement, Marriott sleep experience is usually much better. Gym was closed, equipment was very old. The indoor pool too. Bathrooms had no towel racks.

Hotel clerk was friendly . The shuttle bus service was awesome.

I was excited to use the gym and pool only to learn that when I checked in, the pool and gym was shut down. I was upset that it wasnt mentioned on the website (that I saw). It should have been mentioned because working out is important to me.
