Tru by Hilton San Antonio Downtown Riverwalk

Staff was incredibly nice and helpful and more then happy to make sure you had a great stay they also kindly greeted you every day and asked if you needed anything

There was no microwaves anywhere

This hotel is little bit away from the main area. During the off time this area is bit shady. That?s the reason this hotel is much cheaper than other hotels in San Antonio.

The staff at this hotel was exceptional. Everyone we encountered was pleasant and helpful. Ease of location to many San Antonio landmarks made it a wonderful trip.

Only valet parking for $35/day. Too much.

Staff was friendly but customer service slacked a little.

We never received towels or new sheets for bed. We asked everyday two - three times a day and towels were never brought to our room. We had to go to the front desk or stop staff in hall to get towels. That was the ONLY issue.

The hotel has no parking. You either pay for their valet parking which is $33 or park in the street. You can pay to park under a bridge across the street for $10, but there are homeless people everywhere.

Pool was dirty , mattress smelled like urine , parking was bad , wall paper peeling off ,

The rooms are set up very nice. It was clean and comfortable

They don't clean your room daily, they only clean it once every 5th day unless you call. We had to ask for towels everyday and it was really annoying. I tried asking them just to bring towels in everyday but they didn't do I had to keep asking

Staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

A lovely vintage hotel made modern, cool rooms and amenities.

Complimentary breakfast doesn't get compliments, only the interesting pancake machine, cool. Coffee, ugh. Lobby staff is very busy --> with each other. Is yelling a form of communication? Dial it down to the inside voice, please.

Walking distance from the Riverwalk the Alamo and various museums. Valet was extremely helpful and nice

never again. The common areas were dirty floors had not been mopped. Lobby restroom\hand sanitizing stations were out of soap all weekend breakfast kept running out of coffee. Room hasn¿t been cleaned. Staff was Rude and put out by us staying there.

No parking at the loaction only valet which is $30 a night. The area of downtown was filled with homeless people and unsavory characters.

Location!! Close to the riverwalk, walking distance. Close to the mall,& close to denny's if everything else is closed.

Not really. I pre-paid for my stay which was a ---$ then got there& had to pay an additional --$ for the "usual" but the hotel was clean,modern,& service was immaculate, so well worth the money. Not to mention you received it back the next day.

Location and service

Breakfast was gone to soon the selection was minimal. But what they had was very good.

The Location was nice to walk around in downtown, the free breakfast, and the cleanliness of the room.

Both of the elevators of the hotel did not work, one shut down, and the other was making noises and would move constantly when someone got on. It was super noisy and thin walls so you could hear everything after midnight.
