La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham San Antonio N Stone Oak

Staff was friendly and polite.

Shower floor was not cleaned very well. Did not use. No hot water from handsink. Room had several poor repairs done on the walls. Like they had holes in it and did a bad paint job.

The front desk person very nice and friendly

The tv didn’t work, have to request room change. The new room had strong humidity smell and a lot of mosquitoes

The room location.

The staff came into my room, while I had the Do Not Disturb sign on, removed items from my room, and then took the sign off.

Very Clean and safe area.

The only problems to note were that the elevator didn't work one day (It was fine the next day) and there was a cut in our couch. Location due to the highway made it hard to get to and yet easy to access the highway.

Cleaning staff was always helpful

Key had to be reprogrammed daily. 3 times we got to the room and had to go back down to get key reprogrammed. I was at facility post surgery and that was a difficult task when you have to wait for someone to get key taken care of

The hospitality. The front desk did their best to make us at home. The grab bars near the side of the toilet. Large bathroom (Accessible room)

The dampness of the 2nd floor. The carpet smelled sour. Left the floor slick in the room. One chrome grab bar to the shower over the rim of the tub. I would like more bars in the tub to rise from the shower chair. More thought on accessible features.

Allowed Pets and location was good.

Hotel room was not clean. Hair in shower, dirt on floors, very stained couch, tissue stuffed in peep hole door, water stains on ceiling, and trash was not removed from room during daily cleans. Very little insulation between floors & rooms so it?s loud.

The elevators were fast if

Rooms wasn't clean enough even though room service just got done, indoor pool doesn't exist because of renovation outside pool hasnt been touched in months fitness center was also out of service because of renovation Overall i would NOT recommend this

Clean, updated, staff very helpful

some aspects of tv - finding the 'regular' channels and a schedule of what was on those channels - was difficult to navigate

The overall location was convenient and there was enough parking.

The rooms weren't restocked with towels or toiletries daily, and i had to ask the front desk for new supplies. and the morning breakfast left a lot to be desires. The fitness center was under construction.

The lobby of the hotel had no AC on which was off putting but it was very nice and the lighting was good. But the room was excellent.. nice and cold and clean and up-to-date. Great soap and shampoo in the room as well

Leaving it

Uncomfortable beds. Terrible water pressure in the showers. No a/c in the lobby/first floor common areas. Graffiti in elevator.

Breakfast was great and the AC unit worked great!

I was very disappointed that the gym was closed for the two nights I stayed there.

It was a comfortable place to stay. They came in and re made up and cleaned the room up the room during the day.

There is only one ice machine in the hotel, we customers don't like that. The breakfast was a little lacking. Not bad just not good.

Location

Under remodel and was not in booking description. Elevator was vandalized and rooms were not completely clean. A/C unit was loud and was hard to sleep with the noise.

The room was very clean.

They supplied body was in show except the bottle was empty. As for Breakfast that was the worst. I've stayed in many La Quinta and never have I seen eggs an sausage in water, only white bread,no juice varieties. Milk in gallon jug.

It was there.

They never fixed the TV. I really didn't appreciate having to pay another $100 for incidentals. The breakfast was horrible, boiled sausage, and NO eggs! One small elevator for the whole place.

The room was adequate

The whole place was under construction! It was scary for a female traveling alone. I felt like I was in the shining! Very disappointing!
