Best Western Alamo Suites

It was clean and close to where my workshop was downtown.

At times there was a smell, but I think it was coming from some of the rooms. Someone was definitely smoking something they shouldn’t be.

The breakfast was really good and the staff was amazing

Our room was hot at first but we called front desk and they brought up a fan really quickly then at night too we called again cuz it was warm in there and they brought up another fan and it was cool in there. They did a good job at helping g us out.

Everything in General, location, cleanliness, awesome staff!

Location to downtown and River Walk

Our bathroom was very very small and the lighting was not great.

Room was clean, good value, free parking.

The breakfast was not good. Sausage and bacon were overcooked and rubbery-- microwaved for way too long. Muffins were dry and crumbly, most likely frozen for a long time and thawed. The only saving grace were the waffles.

Check in was so hard. I was exhausted and it was late, but they did not have my information.

The loft suite itself was amazing. It allowed just the right separation form our kids without having to get an extra room for them. The breakfast was always piping hot and everything was delicious. All the staff we met were super friendly and attentive.

The door lock must have had something wrong with it. Changed keys twice and they hardly worked. Parents not controlling their children at the pool. Jumping from hot tub to pool. Pool was also a little small.

Our first rooms bed was extremely lumby. Switch to another witch was ok but still a little lumpy but not as bad

Very, very noisy, party on the floor above, room was next to elevator, lobby and vending machines which didn’t give some drunk girls what they wanted at 2am, nobody stopped the noise

A previous guest left a food plate that was inside the microwave and the cleaning staff didn’t noticed it, That is a sign that the cleaning was not 100% The front staff is somewhat friendly.

i liked best the room comfort.

The Covid-19 pandemic caused the breakfast area and indoor pool to be unavailable.

I loved the staff! I wish I could remember her name but she was super sweet and accommodating. I loved the breakfast time extended a little longer than most. Our room was nice and surprisingly big. House-keeping kept everything stocked back up.

There was really nothing. It isn’t far from the riverwalk so it fit our needs perfectly!

1.5 miles from downtown, easy walk to riverwalk and Alamo.

The hotel was clean and furniture updated. Friendly and helpful staff

The location was not good. This hotel is surrounded with abandoned buildings and that made me feel uncomfortable.

Very nice people and nice hotel.

I could not say a bad word about this place. Was there for only a night and it was a nice clean place to rest our heads

The hotel heater made a really loed noise which was fixed really quick.

the city shuts down when they playing there's black ice on the streets. So I walked over and got the pizza myself and walk back to the hotel was only 300 feet pizza was hot.

Staff really respects your privacy, staff was very friendly and helpful.

Room space

Reserved a 2 queen bed with sofa but the "sofa bed"which should be called spring bed was not useful.All you could feel were the springs,it did not have any cushion so I had to close it back in and arrange to sleep on the sofa instead.Breakfast was plain.
