Mokara Hotel & Spa San Antonio

The hotel exceeded all expectations. My wife loved it. Awesome location and can't say enough about the staff. Courteous and professional. Would recommend to anyone that wants a great place to stay in San Antonio.

We loved it and for sure will be going back. It was our wedding anniversary and we enjoyed so much. From the staff and valet staff we loved the amenities and the welcome.

The hotel was located right on the river walk and easy access to everything

The food at the Ostra was very under whelming. The fish was way over cooked and dry for dinner and the pancakes were not fluffy or even a good texture at breakfast. I would recommend to find a different place to dine.

Location

No coffee machine only espresso, the room was not entirely dark in the morning, only two pillows per double bed

It was clean.

We didn’t like how it looked elegant online but when we got  there it looked old and dusty in the room. There was nothing  worth the $--- you spend for one night it’s overrated

The location is really all we liked about this hotel. Very over rated.

The pool was very dirty, the staff was not helpful, the room was small, very bland for the price.

Great spa and staff. Wonderful rooftop pool. The restaurant was exquisite, Orsa. Nice jacuzzi tub. One of my best stays. The perks was much appreciated.

Pillows a little too soft. A few large size bathrobes, like 3X. Access to a computer, like a business center. More locations in other cities.

The entire staff was friendly and eager to help. The decor in the room and lobby was very tasteful. The smell of the lobby was extremely appealing. This hotel was one of the nicest hotels that my wife and I had the pleasure of visiting.

First class hotel worth every penny. Fabulous staff in every area, comfortable room, bed and pillows and great spa. I have stayed here several times and have yet to have a negative experience. I highly recommend staying here.

Nothing I did not like

Appearance, it was beautiful! Customer service was outstanding! In room breakfast was prompt, delicious and beautifully served

We loved everything about this hotel. Would go back again and again.

The staff was extremely friendly. The location was perfect. It was right on the riverwalk and right in the middle of downtown. 5 minute walk to The Alamo and 5 minute walk to El Mercado. The rooftop pool was nice as well.

Service is impecable, hotel very clean and comfortable, great amenities.

View in room was of a wall, but no big deal.

The staff was very helpful without being overbearing. They all seemed genuinely nice and wanting to make sure our stay went well. The location was great as well!

The room smelled like cigarette smoke when we checked in. The staff offered to move us immediately. We told them it was not a big deal.They sent someone to deodorize the room while we were add and it was just fine when we returned.

Spa tub did not work. Was told our room was upgraded to one with city views...if you can call looking at the side of a parking garage through a very dirty window a city view...

The location was excellent. We were right off the river walk. It was a 15 minute walk to the Alamo and downtown. It was a 10 minute walk to the market and 30 min to the Pearl Friendly staff and awesome spa !!!!! Good room service for breakfast !

Very far from decent shopping centres. The best mall is The shops at la Cantera. It's s 35 minute taxi ride. Our room was a city view- really we looked right at a parkade. We did ask for an upgrade, but it never happened. We stayed 5 nights too.

Responsive, extremely friendly staff. Hotel itself was very clean and well maintained with superb amenities. Can't beat the location which has an exit directly onto the Riverwalk!

My only thought was that the furniture in the room was just slightly worn looking/dated for such a high end hotel. Might be time for a refresh? This was only a minor issue though and overall I had a wonderful experience here!

MOKADA hotel is probably the best hotel in San Antonio Beds and room are very comfortable , large bathroom, plenty tv channels available, unique location, good AC, and better restaurant Ostra. Same impresion with staff

house keeping knoking at 8.30 am....

The service is top notch. The location is by far the best in the Riverwalk district. Their restaurant had fresh seafood and a welcoming patio, plus breakfast on Sunday was excellent.

This was a 4 day professional development conference I attended with my daughter. The Mokara turned out to be the PERFECT Mother/daughter retreat after long hot days of us attending the conference. Don't pass up this hotel. It's a winner in our book!
