Hotel Valencia Riverwalk

The bed was not comfortable

They didn’t answer the phone several times and the 7th floor heavily smelled like smoke it was very concerning

Location

Someone entered our room with a room key after midnight while we were asleep. We reported to the front desk but they were not concerned said no security, security cameras, or management at hotel until 7:30 next morning. No move due to hotel being full.

The location.

My husband is a 100% disabled Army veteran. The valet was very high, no discount, and really no option.

The staff was extremely attentive and professional

We were surprised that the beds were only full size- be better if they were queen. However they were still very comfortable

The location is exceptional and the hotel is gorgeous.

I had stayed at this hotel before covid and loved the experience. This trip had a couple of bad tidbit. First, we were running early into town and called to see if we could check in about an hour early. Veronica seemed a bit annoyed and snippy.

The location is great!

Our room was not ready and we sat at bar for a couple hours before being able to check in. This was unacceptable for this caliber of hotel. We expected more. Also there was a long counter in the room but only 1 chair. We expected better.

The room was spacious with a very comfortable bed, while the furnishings were elegant and comfortable.

We arrived after the stated check-in time and still had to wait for our room. We had reservations for dinner and had to rush to get ready once we finally got our room. Waited over 30 min to get our room.

The decor of the hotel was really nice. Staff was very friendly.

Hotel was more than comfortable- AC could have been a little better but temps were 110 so its hard to keep up!!

For the price, the location is what makes this hotel stay on the map.

Where do I start - $49 forced valet fee (not including gratuity), I could hear the vehicles while I laid in bed, the towels smelled foul, and the front desk personnel were easily overwhelmed. Glad I only had a on reservation; wouldn't recommend.

Excellent location right on Riverwalk. Close to everything. Very relaxed and spacious interior spaces

Had trouble at check out getting an invoice to print for me. Not a big issue. They emailed it later.

Hotel rooms did not meet my expectations. The beds were not comfortable and the air condition made a load noise.

Room fronted the street and it was very noisy. Patio out back was littered with cigarette butts.

Love this hotel,  the bartender was so nice,  Veltman is the best. We really enjoyed talking to them and cant wait to stay at Valencia again!

TV didn’t work, previous people left food in fridge, and toilet got clogged.

Beautiful and clean hotel.

Hotel was understaffed, check in was not the friendliest experience, valet was horrible (took an hour to get our car pulled up at 10am).

Room and location.

The Valets and Bellhop (1) were completely rude and incompetent. We waited with about 30 other guests for 45 min to get our car. It was such poor treatment I felt foolish for spending so much to stay there and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

I stayed for two nights. Was not supplied toilet paper for the second day. Also, got some newly bought items (that were left in the room) stolen/misplaced by the cleaning staff. Reported it and the manager told me they could not retrieve them.
